AffeL has a history of socking, editwarring, and refusing to take part in talk page discussions, despite several warnings. He was sitebanned for a year for socking. This has continued at the Dragonstone (Game of Thrones) article. I brought up the issue of an entire 3-paragraph section being sourced exclusively to promotional material released by the HBO. The issue was ignored, so I removed the section with a note to AffeL not to simply restore it, as this has been his habit elsewhere on several articles.
A mere half hour later, IP 79.76.69.140, with no edit history, restored the material without comment. As the restore was done without comment, I reverted, and left a comment on the user's talkpage to take the dispute to the article's talk page. Then, IP 5.140.135.246 also restored it, again without comment and with an edit history of only one edit the day before. IP 79.76.69.140 returned and again restored the content without comment, despite my comment on the user's talk page to take the dispute to the article's talk page.
Two minutes after this edit, Panyd added requested page protection, and less than two minutes after that, AffeL returned to revert the edit, despite my note to him and several previous warnings about this behaviour. AffeL made no edits to the page from after my warning to him until two minutes after the page was protected.
79.76.69.140 (geolocated in the UK) has made only two edits, both of which were reverting me at the Dragonstone article—the first a mere half hour after I had removed the material with the disputed sourcing, the other a mere four minutes before AffeL's return.
5.140.135.246 (geolocated in Russia) has made only three, to the Dragonstone article and another to its talk page. The talk page comment is head-scratching ...
AffeL's previous socks have been with accounts geolocated to Croatia (83.177.25.12, 83.251.134.21) and Sweden (212.247.21.222). He obviously knows how to hide his location, so addresses in the UK and Russia shouldn't be surprising. Curly "JFC" Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 03:30, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

For personal reasons I'm not going to go into, I'm extremely reluctant to speak ill of currently-blocked users, but given the wording of Yunshui's comment below and the fact that I know absolutely nothing about CU except that I've seen CU-enabled users overrule each other for reasons beyond the understanding of normal editors with questionable results (actually I saw ArbCom unblock a "CU-confirmed" sock who later caused a lot of trouble trying to essentially ban sockpuppetry investigations), I feel obligated to point this out. If AffeL and PeterD12 are the same person, then AffeL double-voted an AFD, an RM and a merge discussion. The writing styles are also not dissimilar, although the Peter evidence is meager. These edits could be explained as a deliberate red herring, but more likely AffeL used his "good hand" to sneak the article past GAN, the as soon as the article passed he logged into a different account and re-added the image. I hope this is enough to keep someone else from unblocking based on "likely" CU evidence and the two accounts sharing an interest in a very popular TV show.
