Golden Rule

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you - Mathew 7/12 YahwehSaves (talk) 19:32, 30 December 2016 (UTC)

Blocked

I have blocked your account for two weeks for your conduct at the article Audie Murphy and its talk page. First of all, Misplaced Pages operates by consensus and discussion, not by one editor bludgeoning their preferred text into an article—all the more so with featured articles, which have been rigorously assessed for quality—and secondly, under no circumstances is ever appropriate to personally attack an editor with whom you have a disagreement. I see from looking at your editing history that this has been explained to you before, in relation to exactly the same article. I strongly suggest you rethink your approach to editing and discussion; any future blocks for the same conduct are likely to be considerably longer, if not indefinite.

You can, of course, appeal this block using the template {{unblock|Your reason here}} (copy that as it appears in the live version, not the edit window) which will bring a second administrator along to review the block. You may wish to read this guide first if you're not familiar with the procedure. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 08:20, 18 October 2017 (UTC)

Request reason:

Talk:Audie Murphy > Peacemaker67, 07:15,18 0ctober, 2017. Marcus (Talk) 08:06, 18 October 2017. The following email was sent to me to my personal email address through Misplaced Pages on October 24, 2013 from "MarcusBritish....." the same "Marcus" > Email begins - "Are you a professional idiot or something? Why the hell do you keep tweaking the Audie Murphy article........" I was a rather new at editing.... You can see at the above section that I have received a MOH article recognition and this is related to Audie Murphy (MOH recipient) YahwehSaves (talk) 07:10, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Misplaced Pages, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:15, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Talk:Audie Murphy Topic - Soldier's Medal and Air Medals awarded to 3rd Infantry Division > Peacemaker67, 07:15,18 0ctober, 2017. Marcus (Talk) 08:06, 18 October 2017. The following email (I did not reply) was sent to my personal email address through Misplaced Pages on October 24, 2013, from MarcusBritish (Marcus) > Email begins - Are you a professional idiot or something? Why the hell do you keep tweaking the Audie Murphy article...", "... shitty Start class standard...", " ... you keep doing stupid things..." I was rather new at editing during that time and still do not approve of this kind of conduct from anyone. You can see at the above section that I have received a Medal of Honor article recognition, Half Million Award ("for your contributions to that article") and this is related to Audie Murphy (MoH recipient). Many of my Audie Murphy article contributions were and are useful as those were and are at the MOH article ("Soldier's Medal" ... talk topic subject at AM article is accurate and referenced, and is a useful contribution to the AM article-footnote ALM 3 (Soldier's Medal). Ref: Lt. Col. Hallet D. Edson, 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry, 3rd Infantry Division, awarded Soldier's Medal for heroism, 20 December 1944, France (Murphy's battalion commander who recommended him for the MoH) All of my October 16-17 edits at the AM article including any of these which are useful contributions were deleted as if each edit was not considered separately or intentionally not permitted by Maile66. Maile66's Murphy's site MOH photo (Wikipedias's site photo) has to be puffed up (larger than any MOH at the Medal of Honor article and all the MOH recipient's articles) or its personal attacks or trouble (blocks) from Misplaced Pages (from Maile66 and or his backers).
