Little is known of Absalom's past prior to him joining the immortal mutant group known as the ]. Its known he lived some time in the Old West, where he was to be ] for the murder of the renowned lawman and gunfighter ]. Upon his first death his spines grew, cutting himself free and scaring away the crowd. At somepoint in time he joined another group of Externals.
