While driving home from a ministers' conference in eastern Texas, Piper's car collides with an ]. He is pronounced dead on the scene. Meanwhile, he is greeted in heaven and feels peace. | |||
On earth, another minister, Dick Oreneger, passes by and prays for Piper's soul. Miraculously, Piper comes back to life 90 minutes after being pronounced dead, but must endure a long, grueling recovery. | |||
