I know you left because you felt harassed by this and many other things but, could you remove the new messages bar and save it for April Fools. In your absence, it was made against policy to have a spoofed new messages bar on the top and can get you blocked.

Welcome back though. Good to have you.—] ]Online 16:06, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

(outdent) Welcome back to the project, and I look forward to seeing your current thoughts about what changes would benefit the arbitration process and the encyclopedia.
In my opinion, reopening the endless old arguments about "joke message banners" would be an unnecessary drain on the community's time and would also become a distraction from whatever more serious changes you'd like to promote. So for what it's worth, I recommend that you not do that. ] (]) 20:29, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
:Thank you Brad. I actually agree with you that there are certainly more pressing issues at hand. There will be ideas and proposals that I will voice in the coming months throughout the ArbCom election cycle. In the meantime, I'm trying to get a sense of where Misplaced Pages is right now and whether or not I feel comfortable with the vibe because at the end of the day building a comprehensive encyclopedia is what really matters. I am looking forward to collaborate or write some mainspace articles if my schedule permits it and put the old grudges and politics behind me. I hope others could do the same and hopefully there won't be so much backlash that I would have to leave again.--] (]) 20:36, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
