Pictures
I was wondering if you would tell me how you got the pictures, and boxes to appear on your talk page. Would you mind telling me? Solon Olrek 18:06, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Knowledge Management
Hi, I've dropped the Wikiproject California tag from the Knowledge management article - I just cannot see any connection to the state, explicit or implicit. Please let me know if there was some logic behind this; I'm assuming it just slipped in. Kuru 14:12, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- No, you were correct in removing it. It was incorrectly in a subcategory that was in a subcategory of California. —Mets501 (talk) 14:20, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

- 'On topic' is one criteria covered at the external link guidelines I've already provided you a link to. A site that is composed of mostly ads with a few links to some software has absolutely nothing to add to an article about Freeware and simply seems promotional. Please feel free to place a link to your site at the dmoz.org directory site already linked from that article. Kuru 02:56, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
pictures
I have seen your post for a while now and you seem like you know how to do things on Misplaced Pages. How would I get a picture that I have saved to my computer to load on Misplaced Pages?Solon Olrek 18:43, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- There is an instruction page at Misplaced Pages:Uploading images which should get you started in the right direction. Please be very, very careful to determine the copyright status of the image before you consider uploading it. Good luck! Kuru 13:02, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
clarification
I am new here and only trying to add information. I didn't understand how i deleted some content from Boston. Thanks for your message.Raghu9
Re Share Investor
Hi Kuru, Where would I put (link deleted)Share Investor New Zealand and how it would relate to information on Wiki? It must fit somewhere. I see other commercial sites(mine is not)having appropriate links and your own page has many links to your own interests.
Im curious...
Regards, Darren Rickard
- Thanks for asking for further information. You appear to be posting links to your personal forum to many articles which have some passing relation to topics your site covers. Since the forum would appear to have been recently created, it is not a notable resource that would assist people in those topics. It is also not a good idea to post links to your own sites, as this would appear to simply be a promotional activity. Please take some time out and add content to the articles, not links to your site. Thanks. Kuru 00:40, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
link to DiagnosisPro.com from Decision support system.
DiagnosisPro is the most advanced\comprehensive decision support system, link to this program\website helps healthcare professionals to find the right medical diagnosis with ease and less errors on their behalf.
Please, next time before you remove any link\s take the time to check what's on the other side, sometime it might be relevant to the subject.
Have a nice day, DiagnosisPro Team. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.11.111.110 (talk • contribs) .
- I always check external links before they are removed. You added a link solely to promote your product, and it adds absolutely no value to the topic of the article. Please read the guidelines I left you a link to (WP:EL). Thanks. Kuru 23:49, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
ROI
Definitely, this section is in need of attention from an expert on the subject !
You called "google ads linkfarm" a web site (costkiller.net) about B2B cost-cutting with thousand of stories and case studies in english and french. This ROI external link is useful and there is also a ROI IT section in this portal.
And what about the virtual Casino external link in this ROI wikipedia section ? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.225.68.143 (talk • contribs) .
- There is a handful of content specific to the subject matter, several articles cobbled together from other sources, many unattributed, and a dozen or so google ads which overwhelm the actual links. If you are concerned about the state of the article at Rate of return, please feel free to add referenced material to it or copyedit it, but please do not add links simply to promote your site. You can read Misplaced Pages's policy on external links when you get an opportunity. If there are other links which you feel are inappropriate, please feel free to remove them or discuss them on the article's talk page. I'm very glad you're here to improve the article; jump in there and fix it up! Kuru 22:32, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Nonsense
I apologize for vandalizing the other fellow's page, however, he incited this act by removing my contribution to the caption of a picture that I took and was updated by a friend of mine on an animal page. I did not appreciate this act on his behalf, as he labeled his revision as "nonsense." Cheers. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by WombatO O (talk • contribs) .
- You're simply adding nonsense to articles and blanking other user's pages. Please stop. Kuru 04:42, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

- I'm terribly sorry, but this is not a site owned by the Nintendo Connection. Please feel free to assist us in creating an encyclopedic article on the site by adding relevant, verifiable information to that article. I'm afraid the comments you insist on adding are simple nonsense and unverifiable commentary. Kuru 04:46, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi, you recently tagged the above article as a speedy. It was basically a vandalised version. I have restored the original version, warned the vandal, and removed the speedy tag. Just to let you know. Cheers -- Lost 14:00, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

jumbo mortgages
Kuru:
The link to jlenders.com is spam. The website is owned by a company called EastLand Mortgage at http://www.eastlandmortgage.com and the "NY mortgage" link on the jlenders.com page leads directly to them. They disguised the page in a way to make it "appear" to be some type of portal when in fact it is nothing more than spam site to drive clients looking for financial assistance in NY to their site.
Here is their registrant information: ec101 Inc.
Admin Contact () 516-728-7500 Fax: 601 Jericho Tpk. Syosset, NY 11791 US
Their corporate address is listed at the top of their page -> www.eastlandmortgage.com and matches the registrant info.
Please notify the user that spam is not allowed on Misplaced Pages and get back to me at your convenience.
Thank you for your time.

Thanks for helping out with reverting spam on that page (I am getting very sick of it), but you reverted my category additions to there too! I fixed it, so don't worry about it! -- DJ Rubbie 23:40, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

How do I protect a page? WhyNotFreedom 03:48, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Question on removal of commentary in State Farm Insurance Page
Hi,
I'd like to know why you removed the commentary on State Farm Insurance page. Especially when the vandalism were commited by state farm employees. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.180.208.5 (talk • contribs) .
- You can read my response on the talk page of the user who left the comment here. In summary, random commentary about the article or about other users is more appropriate for the talk page of the article, or, in this case, on the talk pages of the users you are having a dispute with. Simply leaving an individual vandalism related warning on their pages suffices. Please let me know if you have any other questions, or if I can help you find those talk pages. I have the State Farm page bookmarked now, and will assist in reverting obvious vandalism. Kuru 03:04, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!
I was looking for the right template to send to my new friend, then the nonsense was gone. I appreciate it! -- Jim Douglas (contribs) 04:55, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. I just cheesed out and went straight to test4 for the warning instead of the appropriate one... :) Kuru 04:58, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
