Autobiography

Hi, before you edit Mike Mendoza, please be aware of If Misplaced Pages already has an article about you section under the Misplaced Pages:Autobiography guidelines. Secondly, do NOT threaten to have anyone banned as it violates Misplaced Pages:Civility and Misplaced Pages:Ownership of articles. Please also note that you have no authority to do so. If you would like to report any policy violations of editors to your biography, please do so at Misplaced Pages:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard. Thank you. --  Netsnipe  ►  02:18, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Could you explain why you keep removing the sentence about Shalom FM? From the link it appears to be verified. Edit warring is unproductive - please discuss changes on Talk:Mike Mendoza. The rest of the unsourced information I am going to keep out of the article. --Sam Blanning 01:15, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Please explain on Talk:Mike Mendoza why the source for your being involved in the founding of Shalom FM is inaccurate. If you continue reverting, you will just be reverted back, and nothing will change in the long run. --Sam Blanning 00:50, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Differences of opinion on Mike Mendoza article

Please stop trying to change the article until you've explained yourself on the talk page - Talk:Mike Mendoza. I posted a couple of questions to you there, yesterday, and a couple of suggestions. If you continue to change the article with explaining why, all that is likely to happen is that someone else (including me) is going to change it back, which is somewhat of waste of everyone's time. Thanks. John Broughton | Talk 17:11, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

"i am no longer connected in any way with shalom" - the article doesn't say that you are. It says you founded it - nowhere does it imply that you are still connected with it. --Sam Blanning 00:59, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Mike - please stop editing the article until you've explained yourself - for example, by answering posted questions) at Talk:Mike Mendoza. No one owns the article, per WP:OWN. and Samuel and I just want more information so that we can make sure that the article is accurate. Please help us. Thanks. John Broughton | Talk 02:18, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

3RR Warning

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You can find further details of the policy that limits reversions (in your case, deleting text) at WP:3RR. Please review and comply with that policy.
