Overlinking

Please actually read WP:OVERLINKING. It is not always about the amount of links.

"Unless a term is particularly relevant to the context in the article, the following are usually not linked:

  • Everyday words understood by most readers in context.
  • The names of subjects with which most readers will be at least somewhat familiar:
    • This generally includes major examples of: geographic features (e.g., the Himalayas, Pacific Ocean, South America), locations (e.g., Berlin; New York City, or just New York if the city context is already clear; London, if the context rules out London, Ontario; Japan, Brazil, Southeast Asia), languages (e.g., English, Arabic, Korean, Spanish), nationalities and ethnicities (e.g., English, British, Chinese, Turkish, African-American, Hispanic), and religions (e.g., Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism)
  • Common occupations
  • Common units of measurement, e.g. units relating to currency, time, temperature, length, area, or volume. If both non-metric and metric equivalents are provided, as in 5 centimetres (2.0 in), usually neither unit needs to be linked, because almost all readers will understand at least one of the units.
  • Dates (see § Chronological items, below)"

Countries generally should not be linked. { } 03:09, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

"Should?" We are observing best practices and guidelines, not hard and fast rules. If it is helpful in the overall development of an article, then it must be accommodated. If it helps the content, then it is preferred, as it adheres to the principles of Misplaced Pages, rather than limiting an article. Thanks.

Vandalism

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by erasing informations, as you did at Miss Universe Philippines, you may be blocked from editing. Cathytalledo (talk) 06:42, 11 December 2019 (UTC).

Hello. I'm traveling right now and won't be able to do the nitty-gritty on why the article got deleted. If you're planning to create a new one, please make sure all sources and references are acceptable and verifiable, and all information included in said article are provided and supplemented with the right sources/references. Hoping you successfully publish an article this time. Will help in copyediting and then some, once I find the time.

Cheers.

Migsmigss (talk) 07:50, 9 November 2019 (UTC)

@MinaGamal11. I see you've restarted work on this page. Keep it up! To improve the quality of the article and avoid it getting deleted, include sufficient and verifiable information on the topic/subject, and also back all edits with reliable sources and references. Will visit the article as soon as I can, and hopefully help improve it. I'm still traveling now, but will try to help as soon as I can. All the best!
