The Australian Children's Television Foundation is a non-profit organisation that makes television programmes for children. It is funded by the Commonwealth Government as well as state and territory governments. Incorporated in March 1982, many of the ACTF's programmes have won awards and have gained recognition overseas as well as in Australia. They have been shown in over one hundred countries.
