== Citation ==

You said "Two or three (citations) may be preferred for more controversial material or as a way of preventing linkrot for online sources."

This is fine but only if their is dispute on spurious grounds or against consensus with the first source among other editors which you had by Merriam Websters. Otherwise there is no need to clutter with extra sources. So that is why I mentioned that it becomes overkill, looks untidy and can be cause of edit warring like policy states that "One cause of "citation overkill" is edit warring". That is why one source is sufficient enough. Hope that helps. ] (]) 03:36, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

You're welcome to place a request again, but may sure you ''copy'' the model line and put it in the section with all the other requests, instead of ''replacing'' the model line with your request. Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement topic ban

The following topic ban now applies to you:

You are topic banned from India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, broadly construed for six months and 500 edits. This topic ban explicitly includes India's foreign relations and Sikhism.

You have been sanctioned as a result of this AE report.

This topic ban is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at arbipa#Final decision and, if applicable, the contentious topics procedure. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. Please read WP:TBAN to understand what a topic ban is. If you do not comply with this topic ban, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything above is unclear to you. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:40, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
