] '''I wanted to comment on the recent remark made by Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis on January 24, 2007 in Strasbourg, France. During a speech, he said ''"I myself am Macedonian, along with 2.5 million other Greeks"''. I just wanted to say that I pity him for his idiotic and foolish gesture along with the whole Greek nation. I wanted to ask him how can he be Macedonian if his ancestors along with the rest of the Greeks in Macedonia were part of the Greek refugee group who came from Asia Minor between the years of 1922 and 1928? Listen up! Over 80% of the Greeks in Macedonia today originate from the Greek migrations that took place in the 1920s (the other 20% are workers from southern Greece). These Greeks were kicked out of their native land of ], ], ], ], ], ], ], ], ], and the ] area (present day ] and ]) and had no place to go, so they settled in Macedonia under a population exchange agreement between Greece and Turkey. How can you possibly accuse your neighbors in the Republic of Macedonia of having no connection with the land of Macedonia because Slavs migrated there in 500AD, when you yourselves along with the rest of the Greeks in Macedonia came only after 1922? How can you claim to be a Macedonian and judge your neighbors when in reality they have been there longer then you have? How can you be so foolish enough to think that you are connected with the land of Macedonia when you are not even connected with Greece or the whole Balkan penninsula! Your real origins are from Asia! Wake up, and recognize the real NATIVE Macedonians of Greece, the ones who are struggling today to survive as a nation, the ones who have been assimilated for their race, language, and beliefs in the last 100 years, the ones whose very name you are trying to take away from and call yourself and your children by, the ones who have been living in the Macedonian region longer then you "Greeks" have!!!'''

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of File:Misirkov i potpis.gif

Notice

The file File:Misirkov i potpis.gif has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 23 November 2019 (UTC)
