| Glad to hear you're also interested in working on the rapid transit article. I'd say we should figure out what actually counts as "notable" (off the top of my head, the world's first subway system, first to run electric vehicles, most riders per day, stuff like that) and put everything in chronological order. That might actually entail a full rewrite. The most important thing, I'd say, is sources. I don't have much experience with the citation format on Misplaced Pages, but I plan on looking up the proper way to do it and trying to find some good sources to use while editing the history section. The planning acts, the new planning structure, PPS's, all those bloody new abbreviations LDF,LDD,RSS etc.etc. So far the majority of it are stubs and I was wondering if you might be interested in lending a hand in some way. These are good pics, but they are really in the wrong place, because they don't help to clarify the text in the adjacent paragraph. The fountain in (not near) the centre doesn't really say anything about the urban design process; Midsummer Boulevard is not a grid road. They are fine for the ] article, so I'll move them there.
