:Thank you for pointing out the Chukchi peninsula, I totally forgot to color that in! As for Iran and the Northern Middle East, I was able to fill in the blanks in regards to descriptions by Orwell and, in the process, I have determined that the Soviet Union likely took control of the entirety of Iran following World War 2 and did a similar thing to the neighboring regions that they did to Europe. That being said, I believe that area should definitely be all Eurasian. And to address Mongolia and Manchuria, they would fall under disputed territory as they are described as such. I can see your argument for Tibet however, although I believe that such an East Asian state would core Tibet to have access to Bengali holdings (as described by Orwell). ::I get your point about Iran and the neighboring regions, but I think that, as Orwell included Middle East in the disputed area without further specifications, in doubt it should be better in grey. As for Tibet, I mean that in my opinion the little piece of Eastasia bordering Eurasia should be grey, in order to leave no direct boundaries between the three superstates.
::Another possibile fix can be making New Guinea and Melanesia grey instead of black, since usually the term Australasia is used in reference to only Australia and New Zealand, while Melanesia, Micronesia and Polinesia are separate regions. For that reason, not knowing exactly what Orwell meant with Australasia and at the same time knowing that the Pacific islands are generally included in the disputed area, I'd leave in black only Australia and New Zealand. --] (]) 08:28, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

- In regards to Melanesia and Australasia, the book describes Oceania's holdings as being "the Pacific islands and the entirety of Australasia." This would imply that all land west of the Weber Line is under Oceanic control. Most of the Middle East remains disputed aside from the aforementioned regions.
