Should the article mention if there is any sort of contingnecy plan for "rogue" trusted users or administrators? I'm relatively new here but imagine the damage that could be caused by an administrator with full privileges vandalizing protected articles. |

Is there some sort of protocol that would be followed in the case of administrator malfeasance or vandalism? If so this should be mentioned in the article. It might seem like an unlikely outcome but as we've seen on other platforms such as Reddit, admin meltdowns can happen and when they do it can become a very messy situation. I hope Misplaced Pages as thought this sort of thing through and has some sort of plan in place for it. |

Due to people editing Gordon Freeman's death into the article in response to the web series Half Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware, it might get people to stop. |

It's pretty easy to see when vandalism is political in motivation, and also there's legitimate articles on Misplaced Pages that are for all intents and purposes an advertisement (and I for one, think that's okay, I think that that company is more likely to give charity if their internet presence is doing well). Other times I've seen an innocuous looking phrase on Misplaced Pages turn out to have dramatic repercussions on Google Search Engine results (it's called "optimised search results") for example a phrase that could have been about Osram photodiodes was on Misplaced Pages instead mentioning a European company, that resells them via an otherwise fairly legitimate online platform (Osram sells them about 25 cents each, the reseller was selling them at about 4,000 dollars), I deleted the phrase, that a vigilant editor had tagged with curly brackets, and lo and behold, my search engine suggested I pay 25 cents, not 4,000 dollars! |

There's more notable cases, I've encountered where it's in a company's, or PR company's vested interest to make out that Misplaced Pages says this or that, and it's prevalence means it's impossible to find the genuine information when Misplaced Pages rates very high on search results. |

I could talk more about this, but, I thought I'd leave this here on the talk page, and see if anyone at Misplaced Pages or Misplaced Pages Signpost would rather make the statement, as I too have my own agenda, same as everyone else. |
