I want to complain about the main map used in the Infobox. Why use the national colour of India? The Indian subcontinent is not India! All maps in Misplaced Pages use the dark green colour, why is this one using the national colour of India? It is an insult to the other six South Asian countries. I don’t know how to add citations in wiki articles, so I’ll post a source here:

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/India

First definition provides affirmation.

I’m not sure why this was ever in dispute anyway, to the person that reverted my edit. Why do you think it’s called the INDIAN subcontinent? ] (]) 08:20, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

:::That link claims the first use of the term was in 1952, which is obviously incorrect. If you want to convince people to make this change to the article you're going to need a better source than a dictionary. In any case, we list alternative names in the 'Name' subection, where they can be presented with proper context and without confusing readers. ] (]) 17:56, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
