:I too wish it was possible to speedy such ridiculous claims, but I suppose the inherent restrictions make that tricky. I can easily see that he's not a famous rapper from D.C., but what about hoaxes where the notability isn't so easy to shoot down? I guess as long as a claim to notability is made (even if it's ridiculous) it has to be deleted through other means. Thanks for the welcome. I have a question that I hope you can direct me. I've read every help page that seemed relevant without finding it. I understand what to put in the edit summary box in general. But I've noticed on some page (for ex. I was on a particular ] page and when I checked the history to see how others noted their entries, I found a large number were written with an Arrow that links to the ] followed by a link to the main article. I how to do this manually with links (like this: ]]) but since it seemed so common, I wondered I am just missing some shortcut (like the 4 tildes for a signature) to do this as well. We almost certainly have a block evasion by User:Lejmez active on Massacres of Albanians in World War I by the name of User:Le Joffre

Just bringing this to your attention, as the title says, it appears that the indefinitely blocked edit warring User:Lejmez created a new account 9 days ago and resumed edit warring on Massacres of Albanians in World War I, precisely when they were permanently blocked. Their new account is User:Le Joffre. Yup - good call. Another admin saw it and blocked the sock. There could be valid questions about the sourcing in the article, but the editor really kills their credibility by edit warring and socking.--Mojo Hand (talk) 15:04, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

Why the change for H Steven Blum?

I saw the change from H Steven Blum to H. Steven Blum. Was there a reason for it? If I recall correctly, in a previous discussion on the article's talk page, I included several sources that indicate Blum does not use a period after his first initial. Hello Billmckern. The article itself prominently shows "H. Steven Blum" in the lead sentence and infobox, so I genuinely assumed it was a mistake. I definitely should have checked the talk page, but it seemed obviously wrong on the face of the article.
Google seems to be all over the place on how to present his name, so I will restore the status quo ante. I'm not going to mess with it any more, but I strongly recommend changing the text to match the title.--Mojo Hand (talk) 15:35, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
