I don't know if this is of interest to his bio, but Georges Laraque speaks at least 4 languages that I'm aware of (English/French/Arabic and Hebrew) as recorded on "Midi Morency" radio show on November 3rd 2008. I'm very uncomfortable with wiki editing though so I'll leave it in the discussion page.

I've reworded it.-Wafulz (talk) 02:18, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

This was the section that was continually deleted. As you can see there are items with citations that are verifiable and it traces back to Feb 2008 to present. Maybe there is a better way to put it, but it certainly seems fair and true.

In a radio interview before the start of 2009 NHL Playoffs, Laraque stated that he would love to "shut the fans at the Garden up" and fight Shawn Thornton, Zdeno Chara, and Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins, or all of the above. While Chara and Thornton have fought against Laraque in the past, Lucic (who has a reputation for being a good fighter) has refused on several occasions since the 2007-8 season when Laraque played for the Pittsburgh Penguins. In a game between the Penguins and Bruins on 28 Feb 08 Laraque challenged Lucic to fight for the first time, but Lucic refused and decided instead to fight against pest Jaarko Ruutu. As the Boston Globe reports: "Earlier in the evening, Penguin heavyweight Georges Laraque tried to engage Lucic too, but the rookie opted not to be turned into beef puree." The trend continued throughout the 2008-9 regular season and has been discussed by many NHL fans. One of the main reasons why Montreal sought Laraque for the 2008-9 season was to intimidate Lucic (who played aggressively in the first round of the 2007-8 NHL playoffs) and others who might be tempted to go after some of the smaller Montreal players. Although the strategy has not always stopped Lucic from scoring goals against the Canadiens, Laraque's presence seems to change Lucic's posture. This is especially true since 13 Nov 08, when after refusing to fight Laraque, Lucic fought and won a decisive victory against Montreal defenseman Mike Komisarek who was injured in the brawl. In the next game between the teams om 22 Nov 08, Laraque again challenged Lucic who refused a third time.

There's no reason to include that first sentence. Players always gab about the other teams and their fans. I'm not sure what the rest of the paragraph is supposed to be talking about.
