Line 1: Line 1:
* The article is longer than appropriate for a Misplaced Pages article. Would it make sense to spin off some parts into separate, topical pages?
* Insert word "the Great" after name.

* Get non-biased factual information here. Most of this is biased against the man.
* Is Castro alive or dead? (I know he was very ill) I recommend to change the "summary box" on the right side of his page to start with "Born xxxx" and either "Died xxxx" or "Present age, xxxx", as is done for many other personalities. Otherwise, I hunt through the entire article and still find nothing conclusive.
* Most of this section was written by U.S. establishment lackies who support the corporate imperialists of the U.S.A.
* Point out that the U.S. mafia imperialists (and their politicians) wanted to keep Cuba as their personal colony, complete with lots of whores, good cigars, and casinos. They lost that battle, and still haven't gotten over it.
* fix word "despose" - it should be "depose"
* Improve the Embargo section
* Get a peer review
* Remove material well represented elsewhere - ie. much of the Foreign relations material. (see ])
* "External links" section must be cleaned up and better categorized
* Remove "struggle for power" weasel formulations, this misleads into thinking that the only reason for the Cuban revolutionaries was "lust for power", while in fact they '''say''' they sought a government by and for the people.
* Point out that the Batista regime was contentto oversee what had become, the Mafia's colony.
* Point out that the CIA and the US have persistently deviled Castro ever since the bay of pigs.
* Point out that Castro's regime has courageously and successfully stood up to the capitalist Goliath who wanted to more than anything to crush them.
* Include a note that the dreadfully deceptive and paranoid U.S. government has forbidden U.S. citizens from visiting Cuba.
* Include a section on "Operation Milagro" with facts about the hundreds of thousands of Latin Americans who have had their vision restored with free eye surgery since 2004 - as a gift from the
Cuban and Venezuelan people.
