== Filmography tables == == Christian Manon ==

Hey. I wanted some clarification from other participants of this project. In a performer's Filmography section I thought that it was not encouraged to add non-notable television credits such as appearances on talk shows or game shows, where the person is appearing as themselves. ] has been mass editing endless Australian actors and actresses articles adding these to the filmography tables. Some long-term performers end up with massive slogs of information in their acting credits, that are not even film roles. Is there a consensus, a guideline or a rule against adding this information? I noticed the editor has been approached about their additions but nothing has changed. Some examples I have removed are and Previous discussions on Filmographies have determined that "in addition to excluding ads, we always leave out 'talk show' appearances out of filmographies as well" for actors and filmmakers. == More participants needed ==

Hi everyone, I've been looking at our active participants list on the project page lately and found that there are just 19 active editors who still edit Misplaced Pages and who are part of this project.

So, I was wondering whether all members could please attempt to recruit more editors to join this project. I know it's easier said than done, but it would be nice to have additional editors around here to help us edit the large project that is Australian TV.

No doubt you all know this already, but editors can be recruited by posting comments on the user talk pages of other editors who regularly edit Australian television articles, or who edit television articles in general. You can also view the edit history of Australian television articles to find like-minded editors from there.

I will post a message on the ] talk page and reach out to other editors to see whether I can recruit editors myself. Hopefully we'll see a few more members around here soon. All the best everyone, ] (''']''') 05:31, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

:Since the table columns don't have proper headings, it is hard to know for certain what the values reflect. However, when the new VOZ system was introduced, an example table was printed with proper headings on the blog post entitled . Though also note that the dated ratings articles with the tables will be deleted after two years, and I would be more comfortable citing information from the daily Ratings Wrap articles such as from earlier this week which is not in such a danger of being deleted. ::Hi @], thank you very much for your reply. I have now added ratings to the Season 2 table using the Ratings Wrap articles, but I am not sure whether I need to note that the ratings are based on television viewers only. Christian Manon

Would some others mind taking a look at Christian Manon? I stumbled across while checking on some recent file uploads, and it appears that it's been edited by the subject himself numerous times over the years, the last being this from a few months back. The article might've also created by the subject back in 2006 using the account Christian Manon. Anyway, I tried Googling the name and didn't really get any hits that show WP:GNG or even WP:NACTOR. Some primary sources show up, but not really any secondary ones. The article was AfD already once in 2006, but it doesn't seemed to have really improved since then. I thought about adding {{Notability}} to the top of the article, but not sure if there's a point after all these years. I did some minor clean up, added an infobox photo and added a citation, but it seems like there might just be too much to WP:OVERCOME. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:24, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

I agree with you; the actor does not appear notable enough to warrant a Misplaced Pages page. (Also, here is the original deletion discussion from 2006, if anyone is interested: Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Christian Manon.) Mr Sitcom (talk) 07:19, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
