The second one is that even though the people making templates like {{tl\|extra album cover}} have really made some things easier, they sometimes either don't give much thought to or intentionally avoid going into too much detail in the template's documentation as to how policies related to image use might impact the use of the template. Proposals to change policy or general questions as to how it's applied should be made/asked at ], whereas discussion related to an individual file and how it's being used should be made a ].{{pb}} Regarding '']'', I think there's zero chance of such a non-free use being cosidered policy compliant; not only because of ] that Explicit mentioned above, but also because of ]. So, unless there's something about the cover art itself (i.e. some controversy or other reason) covered in some depth by reliable sources, none of the reasoning you posted above would (again in my opinion) rise above the level of ] non-free use. Even in that case, such content would be more appropriate for a stand-alone article about the album or perhaps a stand-alone article about the artist/creator/designer of the cover art. If you tried to add a non-free album cover to that section, the file would likely be ]ded for deletion as clear-cut violation of relevant policy. You could ] it, but I don't see a consensus being established for in favor of its inclusion at FFD. As for being {{tq\|digitally exclusive to Japan}}, I'm not sure how that's even possible given today's technologies, but it might also not even be true because of , , and (assuming that's the same soundtrack). What I was talking about was {{nihongo\|''The Garden of Words Original Soundtrack''\|言の葉の庭サウンドトラック}}. To date, it is exclusive to Japan, for whatever reason the label knows. It is one of my favourites, but it's a shame the label never went for global release. 	Hello Explicit, could you please explain to me how the former logo of NI Railways (Northern Irelands State Owned Railway company was not fair use). It was in the public domain. I am not saying you're wrong to remove it. It's just NI Railways had three logos throughout its life the original one on the page as we speak, the one you deleted that was used until 2021, and the current one presently used. If this version of the logo cannot be replaced, could you suggest another way to incorporate into the Wiki page "NI Railways". Many Thanks

Appeal of deletion of "List of controversial elections"

I would like to appeal the decision to delete the article List of controversial elections, because the article has been on WP for 12 years, with dozens of editors contributing to it, yet it was removed in the midst of a controversial election in the US with only one week of discussion. @Sparkie82: There was resounding consensus to delete the article. An article's age is not a valid argument to keep it. A week of discussion is the standard and is only extended if consensus is unclear, which was not the case here. I was questioning the timing of the discussion, opening an AFD in the midst of a highly contentious election which could taint any consensus and suggested that the discussion/decision occur some time after the election. The only reason I did not get to edit it for six months is that I started teaching and it took all my time. I have been intending to make a minor edit before the deadline but forgot by mistake to set the calendar reminder.

I believe this article can be easily accepted - a number of people on here have given me useful advice on what needs to be done for the article to be easily accepted.

I would greatly appreciate undeleting it, please.

Pictures Deleted?

I recently uploaded 2 pictures that you then moved to the delete log, and I’m not sure why. Both of the are from a public website of a public university, UL. Wouldn’t that make them free content? @Frank042316: I guess you're referring to File:DOL Property.png and File:OLOL Acregae.png. At the upload form, you must have indicated a licensing restriction, like noncommercial use or no derivatives, as these were automatically tagged for speedy deletion in accordance with WP:CSD#F3. No rush, but I think {{Blockquote}} was at template editor protection, not full protection, before the most recent merge/delete/undelete fun adventure that you appear to have had. So because both the taken photograph and the box set are non-free, it can’t be hosted here? I would need to find a free image of the non-free box set covers then use it as fair use? Both of the images were taken by Viz Media, who also owns the box art. Given that, there shouldn’t be a layered copyright issue since there is no two separate owners. A misplaced file (commons/enwiki)

A confused new user has recently uploaded this obviously non-free logo to Commons. They clearly meant to upload it to enwiki, as an updated version of this file that you have recently correctly deleted as unused. Since you, the deleting admin, are conveniently an admin both here and on Commons, would you mind fixing this little mess? It seems to be as simple as deleting the non-free file from Commons, restoring our outdated local version, and then updating that outdated local version with the file that's on Commons right now. There appears to have been a disagreement as to whether WP:G4 applied to the recreation. I can't see the original article that was deleted, but Explicit can.
