I mailed the admin's list almost 3 weeks ago, asking about my request sent in January. The status is still not clear to me - from my point of view and I'd be a good fit to chip away at a few, considering previous experience on newcomer assistance on IRC and onwiki. If you've discussed a specific concern regarding my request , I'd like to hear it. Thanks, ] (]) 07:56, 12 October 2024 (UTC)

Hello! A few weeks ago you removed my extended-confirmed protection for breaking ], I sincerely apologize for this, I was impatient and I had no knowledge of the rules existence at the time. After looking and counting my edit history, I’ve done 50 dummy edits. And ever since, I’ve done 50+ non-rule breaking edits since. (So does that mean the dummy edits were canceled out?) That means in total i've done 500 cheat-free edits. ] (]) 05:26, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
Hello JJMC89. Please see in which {{user|141.196.59.102}} leaves some comments on a talk page and admits he is ]. Are you the admin who helped with the vanishing of Necatorina on 5 October? If so how can we persuade the editor that vanishing means no more edits? Presumably there is no barrier to unvanishing in their case, they just have to make up their mind one way or the other. ] (]) 03:47, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
: Hi, Ed. I did vanish Necatorina at their request. I left a message on their talk page. Unvanishing them isn't ideal given their reason for requesting it, but I will if they continue editing. — ] 21:43, 20 October 2024 (UTC)

==Ohio University Navbox Logo==

Greetings, @]. Could you kindly look into the ] navbox to see if its logo matches the standards you cited for removing the ] navbox logo? Thanks for your time & equal attention to university pages.
] (]) 04:08, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
:Hi {{u|Sapienna}}. I'm not JJMC89, but the file that was removed from the Ohio University navbox is licensed as ], whereas the file being used in the Miami University navbox is licensed as ]; so, ], they're not subject to the same Misplaced Pages policies due to their difference in licensing. Simple text or ] logos, for reference, are generally considered to be ] under US copyright law; therefore, there are less restrictions placed upon their use on Misplaced Pages pages. If you would like to use a logo file in the Ohio University navbox, you can use something like ] instead since it too is too simple to be treated as non-free content. -- ] (]) 06:00, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

The Santa Rosa image at Draft: Grace Shipping Company

Is it possible to use the image of the 1958 SS Santa Rosa based on Grace Shipping having owned the Santa Rosa and any copyrighted images of the ship? Starlighsky (talk) 02:24, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

Please see the notice at the top of this page. Non-free images are not permitted in drafts per WP:NFCC#9. — JJMC89 05:25, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
I understand now. Thanks. Starlighsky (talk) 13:34, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
