Éric Roger Pierre Lombard (born 16 May 1958) is a French businessman and politician who has been serving as Minister of Economics and Finance in the government of Prime Minister François Bayrou since 2024. From 2017 to 2024, he served as CEO of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations.
Career
Lombard worked as a advisor to Michel Sapin from 1991 to 1993, first at the Ministry of Justice and later at the Ministry of Economics and Finance.
