: Ordinance and sealing rooms could be combined similarly. The whole table would be taller, but it would make it easier to see all the info for an individual temple. I don't know if you thought of it, but "clothing rental" might be a useful column. Many of the newer (smaller) temples don't rent clothes - an important consideration if you're visiting somewhere unfamiliar.

Thanks for using the new data format - I've not been on too much the last few months. I restored the 0 for height, acres, etc. on the Compare template. Because one of the nice things about that template is the ability to click the arrows near the top of each column heading and have it sort that column, it was necessary to replace the empty string with a 0 so that the table sorting mechanism would recognize the column as numeric and then sort it appropriately. Unless the developers agree that sorting a mixture of empty cells and numbers sorting alphabetically is a bug and fix it, this is the probably the only solution - unless you can come up with something. --<font color="#06C">]</font> 16:40, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

As having gone through the LDS temple more times that I can count, and as I have taught Gospel Doctrines for six years, Seminary for three years, was in the Branch Presidency while serving in the military on Guam, and been a happy card-carrying member of the LDS church, I think that I am qualified to speak on the aspects of the rituals carried out inside the temple. Nothing which has been written is in any way incorrect. Neither is it my opinion, nor is it my research. Simply spending a little time reading the Bible and reading Jewish history will give you all of the information that I included in the addition to the article. It is factual, verifiable, and possibly uncomfortable for some, but truth is truth. Please stop removing the addition to the article... it is hypocritical of you to do so.

In addition to the COPYRIGHT VIOLATION, Crissov’s 29 December 2015 edits to The World Calendar page and history demonstrates, without prior discussion, likely vandalism and bias. The three word proper noun reflects TWC founder’s preferences so dropping THE therefore otherwise violates the Misplaced Pages’s goal for accuracy. The Crissov Talk Page includes discussion about Leap Week calendar that demonstrates a preference for it when compared to The World Calendar. One’s personal preference does not authorize this change made to title and history. All uses of The World Calendar within the article use the three words with proper capitalism of the three words. Changing the title does nothing to improve that or add any clarity. Instead, it disrupts.

AfD nomination of List of northernmost items
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of northernmost items. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Misplaced Pages:Notability and "What Misplaced Pages is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of northernmost items. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:09, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

"Although I am convinced that the world is in fact heading toward an ecological catastrophe, I think it can be averted and my optimism makes me want to fight to do do just that."

- LOL
- Despite the fact that I openly admit to being a technorealist who is critical of techno-utopianism in all its forms, I have let never this point of view influence any of my edits or reverts of the Technological utopianism or Singularitarianism articles. On the contrary, I am the person most responsible for expanding the former article with content some would argue is “pro-techno-utopian” (i.e. passages from James Hughes' book Citizen Cyborg).
- I find it disgusting that 81.151.135.248 would take comments I made out of context to falsely make it seem I see my editing of any article as part of my fight for the environment.
- In light of this outrageous act of bad faith, I will do everything in my power to get this jerk banned from Misplaced Pages.
--Loremaster (talk) 00:54, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
- My only edit to that article could be accurately described as "drive-by editing" during a period of time when I was bored. I assure all parties that I have no interest in getting involved. – jaksmata
Thanks!

The World Calendar capitalization
@ http://en.wikipedia.org/Talk:World_Calendar, World Calendar capitalization, I wrote, ‘"The World Calendar" is a proper noun. Elisabeth Achelis was very specific about this. The page title should be changed to "The World Calendar . . .’ You wrote, ’Moving a page is pretty straightforward. I'll do it if there are no objections (the page history will be preserved).’ I have no objections to the correction if your offer is still open. You can confirm via e-mail if you wish. Thanks! File permission problem with File:HollyPiirainenColorFramed.JPG
Thanks for uploading File:HollyPiirainenColorFramed.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Misplaced Pages's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:43, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The World Calendar
Jaksmata - Requesting help to REVERSE Crissov’s 29 December 2015 edits to The World Calendar page and history. No response received to date. Thanks! ALI LAZURE (talk) 04:30, 14 March 2016 (UTC)ALI LAZURE Posted 8 March 2016 to User talk: Crissov:
For a title change to be useful or helpful it would be to leave in place “The World Calendar” title but add “World Calendar” under it so that searches lead to “The World Calendar” page.
I.E. REVERSE 29 December 2015 edits. ALI LAZURE (talk) 16:59, 8 March 2016 (UTC) ALI LAZURE
Proposed deletion of Greatest Tits
Hello, Jaksmata. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Greatest Tits, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:22, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
