Kingsley Miller (kip) Biography

I am a qualified teacher living in the UK. I have an interest in fathers' rights and I was one of the first people to set up a website on the topic called www.evenToddlersNeedFathers.com

My particular interest for concern is the welfare of children in family proceedings and I am keen to see Case Precedents are based on sound research.

I'm sorry to see you seem to have unwittingly walked into an ongoing major dispute into all articles relating to attachment dating back to well before your arrival. Don't be put off by this. Arbitration, where it is at the moment, should be the last stage. You have been given a link to the referral page already. Here are the links to the evidence and workshop pages. It might also interest you to know that you have been cited by JonesRD as a possible sockpuppet of Advocates for Children in Therapy. the 9th link along. Do not be alarmed by this! You are one of many. I have already pointed out that your edits bear no relation to the current dispute here but of course you are more than entitled to defend yourself. Maternal Deprivation

Hi Kip,

I noticed your frustrations on John Bowlby. I can certainly relate to finding article that lacks something I consider absolutely critical. This is the nature of wikipedia and it's up to people like you to add the information. In this particular case, the problem is simply with the tone of your addition. For example, one sentence begins with "Those reading this biography...". As I said on the talk page, imagine reading something similar to your addendum in Britannica. The trick here is to write about maternal deprivation rather than how the article lacks any mention of maternal deprivation. The following links might be useful.

With regard to the message you left me, I would suggest working with shotwell, who's way more experienced than I on wiki-form. I will be happy to look in and comment more on the substance. Your latest changes to PSM Rutter seem OK, though a little heavy on the "Professor Sir" stuff. Would still like to see something more on his accomplishments -- some detail on the significance of his discoveries on children. Did he explicitly reject psychoanalysis, or just ignore it?
