| Companies in western countries are outsourcing manufacturing jobs to China (or other poor countries, usually in the Far-East) and creating factories there because it's cheaper to pay chinese workers compared to workers in richer western countries. Also other factors such as non-existant Health and Safety standards means that the company has nothing to fear if an employee in China has an accident, compared to what would happen if, for example, a worker in the UK had an accident at work. | |||
