Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to ] and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should ] by typing four ]s ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the ], and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button ] located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --] 09:50, 7 September 2007 (UTC) | |||

I had hoped to handle our controversy as it appeared on the article history in a more friendly manner, but although you asked ''me'' not to edit-war on my talk page, it was ''you'' who started reverting and continued to do so each time without offering any discussion. Even after my so far last edit comment on the article page, warning you about the ], as I just mentioned you finally responded on my talk page and apparently also on the article talk page. But you could not wait for any reaction and reverted a 4th time. That, my dear opponent, is edit-warring and a violation of the maximum 3 x revert policy. Please read my counter-arguments on the talk page, and in particular ''also'' the P.S. which may help to make clear that the link I will put back into the article, is not only appropriate, but it can also ''be seen'' to be appropriate because that new link allows selecting ISO/IEC only.
I am reporting the 4RR on the ] because from the section here above, even your answer there "Ok, I'll look into this." does not appear very convinced especially as again it was not signed as one had explicitly asked and explained how to do it. The history of the ISO article talk page shows that the bot had to keep on running behind you because you continue to drop unsigned and undated comments. That does not appear very promising for how you might think about continuing to revert, though I hope you will be wiser. — ] ]] 12:56 (UTC) |
