	I only recently realised that even what I regarded in all innocence as reasonable comments on the conduct of others involved were a large part of the problem in this case. This really means that I cannot trust myself to state my opinion on Misplaced Pages matters (I have little insight into what will and will not cause offence--I'm sorry if that sounds like a wet excuse). See my discussion of this . In retrospect, I can see a pattern of similar problems going back to some of my earliest interactions on Misplaced Pages, mainly from my lack of insight into the effects of what I say. I think this is pretty unfair as I honestly don't think I did anything wrong, but a bunch of administrators have begun to vote for banning me. I want to clear my name and then leave Misplaced Pages. Following an RFC, Misplaced Pages:Notability (species) was adopted as a subject-specific notability guideline.
A request for comment is open to discuss whether admins should be advised to warn users rather than issue no-warning blocks to those who have posted promotional content outside of article space.

Technical news

The Nuke feature also now provides links to the userpage of the user whose pages were deleted, and to the pages which were not selected for deletion, after page deletions are queued. This enables easier follow-up admin-actions.
