Hi, I see you're doing a fine job of merging all the little schools into their respective locality articles. :It is with such activity in mind that the words of the late John F. Kennedy come back to haunt us. Five years ago he said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” Increasingly, by choice or by accident, this is the role our nation has taken, the role of those who make peaceful revolution impossible by refusing to give up the privileges and the pleasures that come from the immense profits of overseas investments. I am convinced that if we are to get on the right side of the world revolution, we as a nation must undergo a radical revolution of values. We must rapidly begin…we must rapidly begin the shift from a thing-oriented society to a person-oriented society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights, are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, extreme materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered. | :It is with such activity in mind that the words of the late John F. *I can see there still might be a problem, but I have not had a chance to look at his recent edits. Is he still being offensive? The problem as I see it is that this user's history and communications difficulties are notoriously difficult to understand, and have defeated the best efforts of several users, including some with disabilities, to get him to communicate here as we would normally expect. As it happens, many of his edits are worthy, and extremely so; it's just that he comes across as defensive and abrasive. Having said that, I am at a loss as to how to effectively get across to him that he should not offend other editors. It's not necessarily an admin issue, unless it comes to blocking, because it's difficult to tell whether his offensiveness arises from frustration or pig-headedness. On the other hand, there is the project as a whole to consider. Re your comments at ], I would appreciate it if this was taken further. :Hi, thanks for your message. I'm honestly stumped on this one. Something clearly does need to be done--the user seems to have bona fide issues, but that shouldn't exempt him from being civil and working with other users. Hopefully the blocking will help this situation. If not--it might be time to consider an RfC. Sorry, I have only recently started to try and add things on Wiki. I tried to place a link to my website about panic attacks and anxiety, and they kept disapearing and so I persisted because I thought I had done something incorrectly to apply it, until I found to my horror it had not only 'not' been approved but I see I am now temporarily grounded :( May I explain, I am a qualified RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) residing in the UK and the website (http://www.cragface.co.uk/index.asp) I designed has no pop-ups, no advertising and no commercial backing. It is purely a source of information in plain English for anyone suffering this debilitating problem and there is no other agenda. Also the "membership log-in is there purely to ensure that people behave themselves on the message board and nothing else. All the information is available to anyone and for free. If external links are not allowed...there appear to be at least two up there that need attention. One link doesn't work (404) and another appears to be similar to mine but less informative. ==Why did you delete the SHO article==
You obviously have no idea what you are doing in deleting the Taurus SHO article. I was attempting to create a place for enthusiasts where they could share information about the car that they all have a passion for. The Taurus SHO is a very different animal than the run of the mill Taurus LX or SE and deserves a place to have of its own. ALSO i was at the time you deleted the page and redirected it in the process of differentiating the SHO page from the regular Taurus with; Paint codes, production numbers, Larger year differentiations, please keep your nose out of this article for a few really good reasons. One: You have no idea what you are deleting because your in England and the SHO never made it over to your side of the pond, you have never seen the car so you don't even know the differences between the regular taurus, I was in process of creating differences from the main article when you wiki-bullied the page to death, and given time the page would have been its own life of SHO only information. If it came down to if you could have just added the redirect and given time to add information before deleting the page.

So that the Aylesbury article doesn't get chockablock with schools information, I have taken the liberty of adding a suggestion as to where the merge should be to on each junior and infant school article that comes under Category:Aylesbury. One or two will require me to create an article for their locality in the first place, but this isn't too bad as there is other information that can be included in with those. -- Roleplayer (talk) 17:38, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your suggestions and for creating the missing articles. ~ Scribble Monkey (talk) 18:49, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm not sure if it's correct to add a comment to your archive, but it seemed sensible to keep this discussion together. Would it be possible for you to create stubs for the missing Elm Farm and Prebendal Farm articles, so that the two remaining Aylesbury primary school articles can be merged into them, allowing the category to be deleted? ~ Scribble Monkey (talk) 11:57, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I forgot! -- Roleplayer (talk) 12:53, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- I did that, and one of them was almost instantaneously proposed for deletion. I suppose you can't please everybody! -- Roleplayer (talk) 13:48, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- So I see. Any suggestions? ~ Scribble Monkey (talk) 14:29, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- I have tried looking online for references for the estate, but am finding nothing. It'll mean a trip to the Record Office to find some references there, something that I can't do today. -- Roleplayer (talk) 14:33, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Ok. If the article gets deleted the school can be redirected to the Aylesbury page, even if the text isn't merged in. Hopefully though, it won't come to that ~ Scribble Monkey (talk) 14:41, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages talk:Articles for deletion/British Airways Flight BA38
I don't think this is eligible for speedy deletion, as the page history should be kept to prove that the comment was added by the user in question, rather than me adding random comments by other users to the project page. I have removed the notice rather than adding a {{hangon}} template, because the latter creates Misplaced Pages talk talk:Articles for deletion/British Airways Flight BA38, and that's just silly. -- Roleplayer (talk) 16:01, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough. --Philip Stevens (talk) 16:07, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Why delete that section, I was just finding more refs for the RR assist, was stated on BBC NEWS24 not 10 mins ago! This is breaking news and sometimes it takes a little whilee for websites to updateMjroots (talk) 16:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

- I see what you mean now. I reverted an edit at the same time as you added the Investigation section, and both edits conflicted together or something, and it looks like I reverted you. I didn't, it was the anon before you. -- Roleplayer (talk) 16:45, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- OK, thanks. I've added the investigation section, but will keep the RR bit until I can get verification. Happy editing! Mjroots (talk) 16:49, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Popular culture
Why would a popular culture section be deleted as trivia? -- Roleplayer (talk) 15:36, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- In the case of the NP article, it was particularly trivial. But as to the more general question, somewhere via WP:Articles for deletion, you should find the discussion that concluded that Milton Keynes in popular culture should be deleted. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 13:02, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Barclay Littlewood
Hi, Re: my last change, I don't understand how the following quote from the article can be construed as anything other than blatant advertising:
"Littlewood’s latest development has been www.videosite.co.uk, a venture that hopes to connect customers with companies in a truly unique way. By allowing companies to develop a video sales pitch with a TV-Style presenter and utilise a unique ‘within video’ link system, videosite.co.uk provides a multilevel and multi-platform experience. Littlewood hopes that videosite.co.uk will allow companies to streamline call centres and sales departments so that staff can deal with more complicated issues by removing the need for them to deal with regular queries."
The "This article or section is written like an advertisement" alert suggests to "Mark blatant advertising for speedy deletion, using db-spam". This is what I did. However, I am not an experienced user of Misplaced Pages, so if I have made a mistake, I apologise and would be grateful if you could explain my error. Thanks.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.78.131.158 (talk • contribs) 13:23, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Just to clarify the {{db}} template should only be used when the entire article needs deleting, not just a section of it. I will see what I can do to alter the spam template, in the meantime I have changed the article so that the only text left is what can be referenced using available sources. -- Roleplayer (talk) 18:39, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Your accusation of libel against me
I am distressed to discover that you believe my comments at Talk:British Airways Flight 38 are libellous against you.
I would be grateful if you could communicate to me the part of the statement that I made that was either false, or that constitutes defamation of your character.
I am upset that you could not contact me directly with your concerns, and angry that you have seen fit to make comments both in the edit summary and on your own user pages that my comments were libellous without alerting me directly.
Please do not edit my comments to make it look like I said something that I didn't.
-- Roleplayer (talk) 17:11, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Then, restore my deleted comments that it would no longer appear that I did not respond to your accusation. Yes, roleplayer, roleplay, is perfect, the most honest advertizing of someone who would write an accusation, then delete the response.
- Anyhow, to have the wiktionary:audacity to force me to only respond here, is to further hide & disguise my response.
- Absolutely, restore my response, or you coconspirators are continuing, perpetuating, wiktionary:libel &/or wiktionary:slander.
- wiktionary:Hitherto, there have been many wiktionary: libelous accusations; about my data sources, chronology mathematics, would be amongst the smallest. However, with the many accusations, I need to stop it somehow.

- < Kennedy Quote >.
- It is with such activity in mind that the words of the late John F.
- The lot of you have hypocrisy, as well as a complete psychoblock, of an incapablity of reading, comprehending, wiktionary:dissent.
- I personally did not remove your comments from the talk page, your response will be copied to my own talk page alongside all other discussions I get involved in and the following comment...
- roleplay, is perfect, the most honest advertizing of someone who would write an accusation, then delete the response.
- ...constitutes defamation of my character because you're pointing the finger at me for everything that you're upset about, and I haven't done a thing against you other than to suggest that your sources are incorrect. If you hadn't thrown around random accusations at me I might have been tempted to help fight your corner for you. As it is you have just lost all good faith that I give all users on here until proven otherwise, and I don't ever wish to hear from you again. Goodbye. -- Roleplayer (talk) 01:34, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I cannot comprehend why there is such a huge effort to libel me regarding what would, generally, be such tiny issues:
- which television network I had seen the crash on;
- chronology & mathematics;
- the wing description.
- I cannot comprehend why there is such a huge effort to libel me regarding what would, generally, be such tiny issues:
- What do you achieve from this? I cannot figure.
- Specifically, role did make false accusations; flie has been one of the persons deleting my responses to those accusations.
- You've said "Forgive me if I have got this wrong,..."
- What does a dictator need forgiveness for?
- You're not a dictator?
- Then, include my comments, where they belong.
- "...help fight your corner,...." What does that mean?
- If I had not complained, you would have withdrawn your accusations? How would you know? Are you a god? I am ignostic, agnostic, wiktionary:ignostic, wiktionary: agnostic.
- I only added the word libel when you had deleted my comment:

- I've encountered this user before, he is an advocate for a disability project in Los Angeles, if I remember correctly. The community has tried on several occasions to bridge the communication gap, but I can understand User:Hopiakuta's frustration and anger, because he clearly sees things in quite a different way from most other people. I don't think, though, that he is malicious, in fact most of his contributions here are very worthy. The major problem is that we have no idea how he sees (i.e. visually) his edits, but we have ruled out an issue with his sight. Having said, that I also see your point of view, and let's hope an admin he knows and trusts will drop a quiet note for him. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 23:13, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- OK thank you for letting me know, I am quite happy to consider this issue to be in the hands of someone else now. -- Roleplayer (talk) 23:17, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I can see there still might be a problem, but I have not had a chance to look at his recent edits. Any ideas here? --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 01:15, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

This uneducated, pretentious jerk keeps deleting the edits that I have made.
I read stuff in books, I do searches on Wiki, the stuff isn't on Wiki, and I put it on Wiki.
Then he deletes it and accuses me of vandalism. WTF?

All additions to Misplaced Pages should be verifiable, and referenced so that the information can be checked up by other users, should they so wish. None of your edits were backed up with references, and a simple google search produced zero hits on everything you added. User:Hopiakuta II
Re your comments at Misplaced Pages:Wikiquette alerts#User:Hopiakuta, I would appreciate it if this was taken further. I took the issue to the administrators' noticeboard as suggested, and the discussion was closed as resolved with no further action taken - my request that redress regarding the personal attacks the user engages in regularly was left unanswered before the entire discussion was archived. I would support someone else taking this to a higher level, as I don't know how to do it myself. -- Roleplayer (talk) 01:55, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for your message. I'm honestly stumped on this one. Something clearly does need to be done--the user seems to have bona fide issues, but that shouldn't exempt him from being civil and working with other users. I'm going to run this situation by an admin or two that I think might be able to help, or at least have some idea where to take this. Give me a little while and I'll see what I can do. Best, DanielEng (talk) 05:10, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- I blocked the user for 31 hours as noted at User_talk:Hopiakuta#Block_for_incivility.2C_threats.2C_etc..2C_to_prevent_further_damage. Bearian (talk) 17:51, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Hopefully the blocking will help this situation. If not--it might be time to consider an RfC. I can't help with that (the complaint has to be certified and filed by the editors who have actively interacted with the user and tried to resolve the situation), but if it does come to that, let me know and I'll be happy to add a comment. Let that alone for the time being, though--let's hope for the best, that this will end things. Best, DanielEng (talk) 03:41, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Children's Card Games
You are wasting your time turning it into an article, these are not just children's games and the correctly named Collectable card games has plenty of content on them. Add your content there instead. -- Roleplayer (talk) 18:51, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- Children's Card Games are a real genre of card games. That's why I didn't put it in Collectible Card Games. Pheonex (talk) 18:54, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Alexandru mitroi
A tag has been placed on Alexandru mitroi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Notability of Alexandru mitroi
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Alexandru mitroi, by another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Alexandru mitroi seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Alexandru mitroi, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Link to Panic
If it is not allowed that's not a problem to me. Thanks. CragFace CragFace (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 10:08, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi, The language of France Poitevin (language) has been redirected to Poitevin-Saintongeais. However, the Poitevin Saintongeais has been removed from the official list of languages in France since March 2007. How can be done to restore Poitevin (language) which, together with the Saintongeais have resumed their historic place, as evidenced in ancient texts for more than 8 centuries? you can see that link: Official list of languages of France? Thanks for your help Saintongese (talk) 17:56, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, the redirect for that page was only created on 15th February (two days ago). If you have verifiable references and a case to answer, it is quite easy to edit the redirect: when you click on Poitevin (language) and end up at the other article, click on the blue link where it says (Redirect from Poitevin (language)) at the top, and that will take you back to the redirect. Have fun editing! -- Roleplayer (talk) 02:46, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Why did you delete the SHO article

- I didn't delete it, I reverted it back to a redirect because it was not obvious to me how it differed from the Ford Taurus article. You have since expanded it, and that is fine, I will not touch it again. Please remember that good manners go a long way when leaving messages for other people in the future. -- Roleplayer (talk) 02:53, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
