| hi AGK - I thought I'd let you know that I've dropped a note in at the talk page of ] asking how editors there feel about trying out some possible 'clerking' - the sort of things I was thinking is the unifying of threads making similar points, the creation of either sub pages or sub areas to discuss specific aspects of the proposal (ie. does it conflict with NPOV etc. - and there are many more self-evidently 'groupable' issues) and stuff like that. I don't want to influence you at all in what you might do, because the whole point is to have an independent eye make calls like that - but I do think that a measured, but active hand (ie. fairly large structural shifts in the page) might help loads - and it'd be interesting to try out as a concept... cheers, ] (]) 05:10, 14 April 2008 (UTC) | |||

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
