== Your comment on List of Rare Diseases ==
Hi KleenupKrew, | |||
] isn't just some wikipedian's POV, but a generally accepted phrase in the medical community. Would you be willing to reconsider your "delete" comment in the AfD for ]? Thanks, ] 13:46, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
: Hi. The problem isn't the term rare disease, the problem is that the article is a "list". An unmaintainable one at that. How about putting up articles on these diesases that are currently redlinked, that would be a big help to Misplaced Pages (and it's the sort of article we need a lot more of.) ] 20:38, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi! I nominated the AfD you voted on for on ] and the general consensus appears to be to have the article merged. Please see my comments near the bottom ]. I would like to move toward a speedy resolution and consensus so that I can begin working on the merge. I have already contacted {{user|Coredesat}} in that regard as well. == New Right category ==
I created the ] on basis of this Minkenberg cite"There are new groups of the radical right which try to influence public debate and the minds of people rather than voting behaviour. These groups—think tanks, intellectual circles, political entrepreneurs—are summarized as the New Right in the literature. In the United States, they include organizations led or founded by Paul Weyrich, such as the Free Congress Foundations and the Institute for Cultural Conservatives. In Europe the most prominent groups are the French ''Nouvelle Droite'' groups Club de l'Horloge and especially GRECE, led by philosopher Alain de Benoist, the German ''Neue Rechte'', inspired by the the French counterpart but als by the Weimar Conservative Revolution, and the Italian ''Nouva Destra''."
*This explicitly states which articles can be included in the ], and of course does not allow for the "]" such as ] and the "]" to be included. ] 14:01, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
::The problem is New Right is a term which has been used since the 1980s in U.S. politics to refer to the entire Reagan coalition, and since then to refer to the same groups and individuals - including the Christian Right, Heritage Foundation and so on. In Europe the term refers to the Nouvelle Droit and related groups - in general, "third positionism" and groups critical of Christianity among others. The European New Right's vision is a Europe of "a hundred flags", small nations and radical decentralization. The U.S. and European meanings of the term are two entirely different things. Best to keep the categories separate. ] 20:35, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

== Request for The Stinger Report Deletion ==
This is the second time that some one has just turned up made a sweeping statement, then asked for Deletion. We entered this Page after a number of Wiki sites used information or sources from The Stinger Report - I can not see how creating an entry is not going to promote ANY service or business. Though I do not see a order for deletion from the Computer Games magazine entries or the other Newsletters? Is there a specific area of this page that could be changed that would not be seen as claimed promotion - or was this comment just made as a simple sweeping statement rather than a way to be constructive. We have done EVERYTHING asked to change alter or add to made this site suitable! ] (]) 12:10, 22 April 2008 (UTC) |

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
