According to the Mahajan Commission report, Akkalkot taluk, the south portion of Solapur taluk, including Solapur City and Mangalveda regions in Maharashtra should be transferred to Karnataka.Our grouse is that the border villages have been deprived of basic infrastructure all these years.There is drinking water problem in Akkalkot and there are no proper roads in the villages of the taluka.
