:There's surely a difference between health and welness. It has nothing to do with marketing. Hello! I am all for figuring out if ] is actually notable, which is why I was happy you are adding sources to the page. Howver, and it seems strange that I should have to point this out to an editor who has been around for years, sources like Facebook.com, artplu.com, saatchiart.com and youtube are not reliable sources. :: Yes, I am familiar with reliable sources. However, a newspaper will never publish a complete exhibition list, so other sources are used to show that an exhibition took place. Issuu is a electronic publishing platform where you can find reliable magazines, so this site can be reliable.] (]) 22:49, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
:::For artists, reviews are the gold standard for sourcing. Frieze, Arfroum, Artnews, and so on. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the art world, but the Affordable Art Fair is among the lowest rung of possible exhibitions an artist can do. It carries zero credibility in terms of determining notability, as it is just about a dealer taking an artist's work to an art fair to sell it. Something like an exhibition at a city-level Museum of Art, for example, is a real indicator of notability, as not many people get one, and they are curated. ] (]) 23:12, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

Your recent edit to the page List of highest-grossing concert tours appears to have added incorrect information and has been reverted or removed. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page. Please use the sandbox for any tests that you wish to make. Do take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. No-where in the link provided it says that Roger's tour grossed so-and-so amount and audience. You cannot sum up and report. Legolas 15:07, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Misplaced Pages's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at List of highest-grossing concert tours, you may be blocked from editing. You do not add original researched content and Misplaced Pages is NOT a reliable source. Please stop.Legolas 15:17, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 5

Hi. When you recently edited Fiscale Hogeschool, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BDO (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sales figures for Bad

I've reverted your edits to Michael Jackson. The source cited in the article says Bad has sold more than 45 million copies; accordingly, your change to "between 30 and 45 million" is not supported by the source. —C.Fred (talk) 12:46, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

…And I'm leaving the revert, pending discussion at other talk pages, in part because of the lack of edit summary. —C.Fred (talk) 12:49, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

Wellness at Nestle

I have removed this twice as it seems like a meaningless marketing term and out-of-place in a serious encyclopaedia. If you still think it important to retain in the article, please feel free to discuss your reasons in article talk. --John (talk) 18:21, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi John,
There's surely a difference between health and welness. It has nothing to do with marketing. "Welness" relates to their different collaborations with for instance L'Oréal (Nestlé is a main shareholder of L'Oréal) and Colgate. "Health" relates for instance to the Health Research Institutes and Nestlé's pharmaceutical products (incl. baxters etc.).Christo jones (talk) 18:54, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. It seems we disagree. It also seems indicative that Misplaced Pages does not have a separate entry for wellness but instead redirects to health. The usual thing to do in a case like this would be to seek other opinions and to search for good third-party sources that use the term. --John (talk) 18:59, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

2 Unlimited

I re-phrased the first sentences to make it more proper. But removing reliable third party sources and replacing them with less reliable sources or artists sites to make a point is not the right approach. In fact it can constitute disruptive editing. I'm not sure why you insist on changing the wording into Dutch-Belgian. We do clearly say in the article that the project is by Belgian producers, don't we? Normally, producers' nationality doesn't affect the region/country artists represent, when the latter do remain in their native country. If artists move to the country where their producers reside, then yes, they would represent the country they have moved into. But such has not been the case with Ray and Anita as they remained in Holland.--Harout72 (talk) 23:19, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Associated acts

Please read Template:Infobox musical artist#associated_acts before adding associated acts to infoboxes. There are specific criteria, and generally writing one song that a performer records does not qualify as an associated act. I also would ask you to go back through your edits and remove those that do not qualify so another editor doesn't have to fix them. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 22:11, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

Joan Baez recorded 4 tracks by Ennio Morricone. Besides "Here's to You" (the single sold over 1 million copies worldwide), also The Ballad of Sacco e Vanzetti part 1, part 2 and part 3.Christo jones (talk) 22:21, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

3RR warning - in case you are unaware of the rule

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Pink Floyd shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Arjayay (talk) 11:48, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Just a heads up that I've moved this page out of your user space and into the mainspace, based on an enquiry from the subject of the article through OTRS. Since you pulled the article into your user space after it was nominated for deletion, I am hoping that you might know enough about the subject to offer an opinion on my question at its talk page. Reliable sources

Hello! I am all for figuring out if Andrew McNeile Jones is actually notable, which is why I was happy you are adding sources to the page. Howver, and it seems strange that I should have to point this out to an editor who has been around for years, sources like Facebook.com, artplu.com, saatchiart.com and youtube are not reliable sources. I have removed those. Issuu, a self-publishing platform is also used many times. So I have to ask, are you familiar with reliable sources?ThatMontrealIP (talk) 22:42, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

Yes, I am familiar with reliable sources. However, a newspaper will never publish a complete exhibition list, so other sources are used to show that an exhibition took place. In the meantime, I deleted most of the unsourced exhibitions. I am searching further for other sources for the other exhibitions. Issuu is a electronic publishing platform where you can find reliable magazines, so this site can be reliable.Christo jones (talk) 22:49, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
For artists, reviews are the gold standard for sourcing. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 23:12, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

Event announcements, like the one you added here, are not reliable sources. Please go and read the article on what constitutes a reliable source.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 17:55, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
