:I've seen that happen with the ''ifexpr'' parserfunc when one of the parameters is empty without a default. basically, the empty parameter returns <nowiki>{{{1}}}</nowiki> or equivalent, which ''ifexpr'' sees as a string - that causes it to throw an error, and that mucks up code later in the template. you can probably fix it by addint a default to futyear: <nowiki>{{#ifexpr:{{{futyear}}}</nowiki> becomes <nowiki>{{#ifexpr:{{{futyear|}}}</nowiki>

== Subcategorising the cleanup categories ==

Following my recent experiences with the four cleanup parameters, it has come to my attention that the categories they populate are absolutely chock-full. There are currently more than 16,000 articles tagged as needing an image—that's a gargantuan number likely to scare off anyone who might otherwise be willing to help—and the others are little better. I would therefore like to suggest that we have the banner break these down by task force; this will result in a series of more bite-sized categories which could then hopefully be tackled by editors interested in those areas. Thoughts? ] (]) 18:30, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
:I was actually already mulling something similar, along with a similar auto-categorization for each of the B-class parameters which could be lacking in any article, also broken down by task force. ] (]) 09:26, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
I added this code to the Korean task force in the sandbox, just as a quick demo:
{|
<code><nowiki>{{#ifeq:{{{Korean-task-force|}}}|yes|
{{!}} ]
{{!}} This article is in the scope of the ''']''' task force<includeonly>{{Film/Task force categories|name=Korean cinema|class={{{class|}}}}}{{#ifeq:{{{needs-cast|}}}|yes|]|}}{{#ifeq:{{{needs-image|}}}|yes|]|}}{{#ifeq:{{{needs-infobox|}}}|yes|]|}}{{#ifeq:{{{needs-synopsis|}}}|yes|]|}}</includeonly>

Not sure if there's a more elegant solution, but it seems to work OK. ] (]) 11:36, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

For clarity: the made cause the visible notes that are added by the {{para|needs-infobox}}, {{para|needs-synopsis}}, {{para|needs-cast}} and {{para|needs-image}} parameters, to be suppressed when the parameter {{para|small|yes}} is set. Whitespace bug

@MSGJ: I cannot confirm whether this was caused by your edits, but this template is now producing a large amount of whitespace (gap) below it in multiple namespaces, though it appears the mainspace is not affected. You can observe this phenomenon at Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Film, Category talk:Marvel Cinematic Universe, Template talk:Star Wars, and File talk:Star Trek The Motion Picture poster.png. Could you (or any other editor with template-editing access) please look into this? Thank you! InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:35, 12 August 2023 (UTC)

I am requesting for "|TF_19_IMAGE = Marvel clapperboard.png" to be changed and the file replaced with "|TF_19_IMAGE = Marvel clapperboard.svg" to use the vector version of this file. Trailblazer101 (talk) 03:54, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

The Belgian cinema task force needs to be added as a supported parameter to the template. Currently, when this task force is used on a page, the template does not recognize it as a valid parameter, causing the page to be categorized under Category:Pages using WikiProject Film with unknown parameters. Thank you. --Earthh (talk) 10:48, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

@Erik:  Done. Let me know if you find any films using the parameter and it is causing issues, but should be all good. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:07, 22 November 2024 (UTC)

Oh my bad Erik! Brain went to your user instead of Earthh. Sorry! Anyways, Earthh take a look and see my comment below too. A lot of categories need to be created for the taskforce for the template to be of any use. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:29, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
Done! Thanks for your help. Earthh (talk) 22:17, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
Though it does now appear that the Belgian task force has not categories associated with them that are needed for this template to be of any use. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:09, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
