==Blanking user page==
So is it okay for him to blank every piece of feedback he gets so other users are always treating him as though he has a blank slate? This means he gets multiple welcomes from duped editors, and other editors lower their warnings because they are unaware of the other warnings he has already received. *Hi again ZooPro. I have now assessed your contribution history. I note formally that you have engaged yourself in a number of wikipedia projects and you appear to be clearly interested in becoming an established editor. That said the difficulty I have in providing you with rollbacker rights is that I cannot establish any history in vandalism fighting. I appreciate that you edited as an IP account for a year and that you are clearly not and editor less than the month's experience your registration defines - but as detailed ] - ''users who do not demonstrate an understanding of what constitutes capable vandalism fighting, either because they have no or little history of doing so, or show a poor ability to discern between good and bad faith edits will not be granted this right''. My view is that you should establish a history of capable vandal fighting over the next 2 or so months and then return to me and I will be glad to reassess. I hope that you accept the reasons for this decision. Best wishes. --] ] 10:25, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Hello everyone! I was just working on responding to a couple bug reports for a script that I worked up as part of a request from this project, and I noticed that only a couple people (who weren't even on this mailing list) are actually using the script. A little history on the script: In March of 2014, {{Noping|Jim Cartar}} came to my user talk page and said he ] in acquiring a script for a backlog drive that he was working on that could keep track of and score deOrphanings for a scored backlog drive. I took that request to the project's talk page (]) and there was near unanimous support for this. I thought about the proposal and decided the best way to do it was to build a new script (which is still no where near as comprehensive as {{Noping|Manishearth}}'s ]) and build into it a mechanism that will make BLD scoring easy.
* Thanks mate, yeah no worries am happy to accept that, i will do my best over the next few months and ill let yah know. Thanks for your time mate. Kind Regards ] (]) 10:29, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
:*Good to hear - see you again in a couple of months.--] ] 10:31, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

What I'm wondering at this point is, since there appears to be only two people using the script, should I continue to develop this script with a goal of using it for scoring BLDs or just debug the existing script and leave it at that. Thanks for any replies or comments.

== ] of ] ==
Let's see if this is a "arrangeable" request: i would like you to protect ]'s page for a while, please.
]

The article ] has been ]. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
Now i develop: usually it is written in intro (and now i take this example): "David García de la Cruz (born January 16, 1981 in Manresa, Catalonia) is a Spanish footballer currently playing for RCD Espanyol in the..." - with no need to write the country after the province because it is referred to afterwards (after the brackets that is).

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be ].
Well, some chap, fearing (i can only guess, it has happened before in several soccer articles) people are calling CATALONIA (in García's case) a country, rushed to the aid and quickly added SPAIN after CATALONIA, not noticing the redundancy. Furthermore, this chap is using a dynamic IP, so there's no point in messages (even if there was, i think it would not do any good).

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your ] or on ].

Incidentally, all the players edited were from CATALONIA, all the IP were anonymous, and all those IP left no summaries.

Cheers (for now), VASCO - --] (]) 00:55, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
**Yes I had seen that edit but in March. Can you also give me the names of some/all of the other articles (they are clearly different IP's because the one's shown at Garcia have only edited on that page).--] ] 00:57, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

*Sure thing, and false alarm, STEVE (at least in the assumption it was the same person); The person whom edited GARCÍA did so from CATALONIA, the other group of edits (seen here http://en.wikipedia.org/Special:Contributions/83.42.238.184) were from an address in MADRID. It's not vandalism, but i am sure it will be reverted again, at least García, so i'll re-revert it when i can, if a protection is out of order.

Thanks anyway, until some other time - --] (]) 01:30, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Look at the edit habits of . Based on his remarks on his own talk page and on the talk:Alice Cooper page i would say he has some ] issues on that particular article. His talk page remarks and edit summaries also show an ignorance for ] with regards to his interactions with the other editor involved. I lost count on his 3RRs on the article. :Has madam just come back or is she making a real pest of herself again? If she becomes a problem again we can reblock her two ranges. I had her ranges blocked for a year in 07-08 and it seemed pretty effective (see the big gap on the ArbCom log) but even a fairly short block as a warning might help. She has the same internet that I do, and the problem with blocking her IPs one-by-one is that the IPs change regularly on their own but all she has to do to force an IP change is turn off and on her router, so it ends up causing more collateral damage than it does actually getting in her way. Because she hates using accounts, anon only account creation disabled range blocking mostly takes her out, but if she's just coming here occasionally it's not really worth it. ] 11:10, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Is it possible to rename images on Misplaced Pages?
I am talking about File:Image0009.JPG , which uses the Generic name which I believe is against WP rules/whatever . If you can, can you Please do it? It should be preferrably called something like Mallikarjuna Reddy.JPG or something like that. --] (]) 14:35, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

deOrphaning script

Hello everyone! I was just working on responding to a couple bug reports for a script that I worked up as part of a request from this project, and I noticed that only a couple people (who weren't even on this mailing list) are actually using the script. A little history on the script: In March of 2014, Jim Cartar came to my user talk page and said he needed some help in acquiring a script for a backlog drive that he was working on that could keep track of and score deOrphanings for a scored backlog drive. I took that request to the project's talk page (BackLog Drive "DO" (De-Orphaning) script proposal) and there was near unanimous support for this. I thought about the proposal and decided the best way to do it was to build a new script (which is still no where near as comprehensive as Manishearth's OrphanTabs) and build into it a mechanism that will make BLD scoring easy.

What I'm wondering at this point is, since there appears to be only two people using the script, should I continue to develop this script with a goal of using it for scoring BLDs or just debug the existing script and leave it at that. Thanks for any replies or comments.

If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Opted-out of message delivery to your user talk page.

Proposed deletion of Coombing Park

The article Coombing Park has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unresolved issues relating to citations and sources for seven years might indicate a lack of interest, knowledge, notability and/or necessity for this article.

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
