| The numbers for manpower was sourced from the latest annual report 2004, and therefore should be fairly accurate as of the date stated. If the figure for any one of those needs to be updated, it will mean all of them needs to change too, since the "correct as at" date also needs to change to reflect it? What yah think? | |||

But do note that the which remains valid calls its official Malay name Polis Repablik Singapura. Would you have reliable sources that the SPF is now calling the force in a different Malay translation? We did not receive any acknowledgement to date. We are in the process of checking the content posted on the history of the SPF in your website to see if there are any infringement of published information that is copyrighted. | |||

Malay name
@LoveFromBJM: Hello, I understand that Singapore Police Force does not literally translate to Polis Repablik Singapura. But do note that the Police Force Act which remains valid calls its official Malay name Polis Repablik Singapura. Would you have reliable sources that the SPF is now calling the force in a different Malay translation? I note that several news articles from SG news agencies call it by its direct translation, but am not sure if COMMONNAME would not apply to the infobox here, considering the infobox usually contains the official names instead.
