The show has been in the top 10 most streamed shows in the USA for 2020 and 2021 according to Nielsen. It's the highest genre show in 2020 for both original and acquired shows combined, and 2nd highest genre show in 2021 when you combine both original and acquired shows. It ranked top 7 on both years overall. As per the following sources:

I think it's a significant achievement for the show and needs to be included. Especially since streaming is a significant portion of viewership these days. The show has gone on long enough to have gone from linear broadcast ratings to also experience streaming ratings. Thank you.

Since we're trying to fix the article up to meet good/featured status, how should we handle the starring section in the infobox? Should Katie Cassidy and Lauren Cohan be included, despite their relatively small role? I had previously wanted to include them, but another user kept removing it, and I eventually gave up on it. ] (])
:To be perfectly honest, I think that only Jared and Jensen should be listed in the infobox. They are really the only 2 main characters. All the other characters just seem to pop up here and there for a while and then die or vanish. As far as Misha, I know he's going to be credited on screen in some episodes this season, but he won't be in every episode like Jared and Jensen. And even the episodes he is in, he will still most likely only be in a supporting role. Take the season premier as an example. He just sort of popped in towards the end of the episode for a couple minutes and then vanished again. ] (]) 21:11, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

It's not, I believe, about who has the most screentime or who are the main characters, it's about who is, has been or will be credited as starring on the show. ::::In my opinion, there are 2 ways to determine who should be listed as stars of the series without getting into the original research problem. The first, which is my preference, is to include only the characters that have been credited as stars on screen for the entire series, which would mean just Jared and Jensen. The second way is to include every character that has been credited on screen as a star in any single episode. Supernatural: Then and Now is an American based podcast hosted by ] and ]. The first episode, in which Speight and Benedict interview Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, was released on 24 January 2022.

Each episode features Rob and Rich recapping the episode before inviting one or more guests to discuss what happened in the episode as well as background information pertaining to the series, such as casting processes or amusing moments from set. At the end of each season of the show, the hosts publish a wrap-up of the season they have just finished, sharing favourite moments from the season, as well as plans for the consecutive season.

::No they aren't. One is a piece of fan art, and the other is a title card. We don't promote other people's work here. The reason that promotional posters are generally preferred over title cards is that when you're dealing with the series as a whole the title card rarely changes, whereas a promotional poster is generally for one specific moment. ] ] 15:05, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Streaming Statistics

Is it possible to include the show's streaming performance under "Impact"? Either under ratings or on its own subcategory. The show has been in the top 10 most streamed shows in the USA for 2020 and 2021 according to Nielsen. It's the highest genre show in 2020 for both original and acquired shows combined, and 2nd highest genre show in 2021 when you combine both original and acquired shows. It ranked top 7 on both years overall. As per the following sources:

I think it's a significant achievement for the show and needs to be included. Especially since streaming is a significant portion of viewership these days. Supernatural: Then and Now

Supernatural: Then and Now is an American based podcast hosted by Rob Benedict and Richard Speight Jr.. The first episode, in which Speight and Benedict interview Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, was released on 24 January 2022.

The podcast consists of the two hosts watching episodes from the tv show Supernatural, while interviewing the cast and crew that made the 15 season show possible. Guests have included Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) and Robert Singer (Executive Producer) .

Each episode features Rob and Rich recapping the episode before inviting one or more guests to discuss what happened in the episode as well as background information pertaining to the series, such as casting processes or amusing moments from set. At the end of each season of the show, the hosts publish a wrap-up of the season they have just finished, sharing favourite moments from the season, as well as plans for the consecutive season.

Filming location

Hey, is it me or would this be technically a Canadian-American because it was mostly filmed in Canada especially in British Columbia so shouldn't this show be labeled as a Canadian-American show Sleazydudeeee (talk) 02:30, 16 July 2024 (UTC)

Nope, as filming location does not equate country of origin. Plenty of American-produced shows film in Canada or Europe. It's solely American because it's produced by American production companies (primarily Warner Bros. Television Studios and Wonderland Sound and Vision) for American television networks (The WB/The CW). Drovethrughosts (talk) 20:38, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
