Thanks, I'll do that when I get a chance. For now I just used the information from the "Paleontology in 2017" page on Aleodon to create a stub.

Please slow down on creating these paleontological micro-stubs. There is little benefit to making a plethora of unsourced, unlinked, uncategorized articles, and the cleanup burden falls to other editors. Emphasize quality over quantity, and Misplaced Pages will be all the better. Cheers, ] (]) 23:16, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

I reverted your change to this page, as removal of a central focus of the article's subject to an "Also, technically..." statement a full paragraph later serves to implicitly denigrate the sentence's subject in Misplaced Pages's editorial voice. :Your entire response is predicated on ]. Reproductive rights advocates include abortion access in their advocacy, and virtually all sources include it as a central right in matters of reproductive health. Your opinion as to what "scientifically speaking" abortion is or is not is irrelevant, and your continued characterization as "Orwellian" something that the vast majority of sources agree on is further evidence that you're not coming at this from a neutral point of view. ::No, what is scientifically accurate is '''''very''''' relevant as it is what determines what is neutral in the first place. Rejecting scientific authority makes you clearly not neutral. Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, Jfraatz, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  AnnH 19:22, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Please sign your posts

Please remember to sign all of your posts on talk pages. Typing four tildes after your comment ( ~~~~ ) will insert a signature showing your username and a date/time stamp, which is very helpful. AnnH 19:22, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

I see no reason why this should be considered a point of view article. In the additional parts of the article arguments from both have been represented. ~jfraatz

Fetal rights

Please stop removing the {{pov}} tag from this article without discussion. The language used in this article expresses a very specific point of view and unless that changes the tag needs to stay on the article. Please discuss this on the talk page before removing the tag again, otherwise you will be committing vandalism and may fall foul of the three revert rules. Thanks, Gwernol 19:02, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Tiktaalik roseae

Thank you for contributing the article Tiktallik. There was a spelling mistake in the title of the article. The correct spelling for this fossil species is Tiktaalik roseae, and there is an article at Tiktaalik that you might enjoy reading. The name comes from the Inuktitut language of the Inuit people, so it isn't easy for many English-speakers to spell. TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 01:06, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Wikicladogram Project

If you intention was to create a WikiProject, please see Misplaced Pages: WikiProject and move the page to the Misplaced Pages namespace rather than the article space. However, from what you've written so far, the WikiCladogram Project appears to be a non-Misplaced Pages proejct because it says that pages should contain links to their corresponding Misplaced Pages project. If this is the case, then a Misplaced Pages page would be innappropriate under our notability guidelines for articles about websites. savidan 19:56, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

The article has been deemed unsuitable for the rticle namespace. It is now at User:Jfraatz/Wikicladogram Project. Let me know if you have any questions about this. — Gareth Hughes 00:18, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Discussion of Fetal Rights article

I've replied on the article's talk page. Thanks for reminding me to do that. Gwernol 19:57, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for all the work you've put in to the article recently. Its greatly improved and I've removed the {{POV}} label. Best, Gwernol 20:27, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Abortion page edits

Hey, Jfraatz. Thanks for the thought of adding fetal rights to the abortion article. Severa has reverted your last edit because I changed your earlier edit such that fetal rights was added to the article, but in the See Also section. The sentence you created with your addition was somewhat odd. So, rather than get into an edit war, any further discussion should be on the abortion Talk page. --BCSWowbagger 23:07, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

AfD

Please do not take AfD nominations personally. The fact of the matter is that there were no clear, accessible sources listed in the article before Goldom amended your formatting error. The numbered citations were deadlinks and the "External links" section was assumed to be just that — an external links section — not a "Reference" or "Source" list. You can refer to the Manual of Style if you need information on how to correctly format a Misplaced Pages article. Refer to WP:V, WP:CITE, WP:RS, and WP:OR for information on standards of sourcing.

The fact that SB_Johnny and Jll both refered to the article as being "POV" on the AfD page, and Byrgenwulf agreed it was an "unencyclopaedic essay," suggest to me that issues of neutrality have not been resolved. Misplaced Pages is a community project, and just because Gwernol does not object, does not mean that others will not (see WP:OWN). WP:NPOV is a founding tenant of Misplaced Pages, and an especially important rule among controversial, hot-button articles, so it is unacceptable to let non-neutral, emotively-charged terms like "unborn child" or "fetal person" slide "for the sake of the argument."

It is my belief that the subject, in its current state, does not warrant a seperate article, and should be merged to fetal protection, abortion debate, or person.

-Severa (!!!) 23:33, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

See my proposal for structuring the article at Talk:Fetal rights. -Severa (!!!) 19:41, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Userboxes

Jfraatz, just in case you want to get into creating more userboxes you might want to go here. BrainiacOutcast 17:05, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Fetal rights, again

Please refer to Talk:Fetal rights for a reply. Also, future concerns regarding that article would be better addressed to the article's Talk page, rather than my personal user Talk page. -Severa (!!!) 03:10, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

For thoughts regarding inappropriate or insufficient sources, please refer Gwernol and my replies on Talk:Fetal rights. -Severa (!!!) 23:59, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Talk:Climatic Research Unit documents

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Climatic Research Unit documents, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Misplaced Pages:General sanctions/Climate change probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- TS 22:00, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Climate change exaggeration

I wanted to let you know that I have just created the new article Climate change exaggeration. Grundle2600 (talk) 02:04, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Fetal rights

If you look at the talk page for the fetal rights article, you'll see that I've just added an entry, "PROBLEM: Use of 'Fetus' Technically Incorrect." I noticed that the entry which you created, '"Fetus/Fetuses" Terminology' is in some ways related. I'd like to invite you to take a look and add a comment.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cretaceous, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MYA. Ways to improve Aleodon

Hi, I'm Power~enwiki. Jfraatz, thanks for creating Aleodon!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add at least one reference to the pages you have created.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Power~enwiki (talk) 22:29, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll do that when I get a chance. For now I just used the information from the "Paleontology in 2017" page on Aleodon to create a stub.

A page you started (Parasuminia) has been reviewed!

Thanks for creating Parasuminia, Jfraatz!

Misplaced Pages editor Animalparty just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

You've been an editor long enough to know that all articles need at least one reliable source. Additionally, articles on groups of organisms need an appropriate {{Taxobox}}.

To reply, leave a comment on Animalparty's talk page.

--Animalparty! (talk) 22:56, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

Ditto

Please slow down on creating these paleontological micro-stubs. There is little benefit to making a plethora of unsourced, unlinked, uncategorized articles, and the cleanup burden falls to other editors. Emphasize quality over quantity, and Misplaced Pages will be all the better. Cheers, --Animalparty! (talk) 23:16, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Shartegodon

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Shartegodon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an individual animal, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. jd22292 (Jalen D. A page you started (Lagenanectes) has been reviewed!

Thanks for creating Lagenanectes, Jfraatz!

Misplaced Pages editor Nick Moyes just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

I feel the page title should either be renamed to match the species name, OR the lead sentence should refer to the genus, and then subsequently introduce the specific name. E.g. "Lagenanectes is an extinct genus of elasmosaurid plesiosaur ... the type and only known species is L. richterae". With a little bit more expansion, this article would make a great Did You Know.

November 2017

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Global Consciousness Project. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. MrBill3 (talk) 15:05, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Discretionary sanctions alert regarding abortion, please read

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in abortion. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Misplaced Pages's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Reproductive Rights

I reverted your change to this page, as removal of a central focus of the article's subject to an "Also, technically..." statement a full paragraph later serves to implicitly denigrate the sentence's subject in Misplaced Pages's editorial voice. This constitutes a subtle but clear WP:NPOV violation (especially given the edit summary you described it with). Thanks. ☯.ZenSwashbuckler.☠ 13:45, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

Your entire response here is predicated on original research. I note that you already have a notice on your user talk page regarding care in edits to abortion-related pages; you would do well to heed its advice. If you want to make this change, you need to get consensus on the talk page first. Since you have not done so, the edit has already been reverted by another editor. Please do not make this edit again without talk page consensus. ☯.ZenSwashbuckler.☠ 16:10, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
No, what is scientifically accurate is very relevant as it is what determines what is neutral in the first place. Rejecting scientific authority makes you clearly not neutral. Furthermore, my purpose in identifying Orwellian terminology is precisely to remove non-neutral language from the article, not insert it. How can you confuse removal of non-neutral unscientific language with neutral scientifically accurate language which is its opposite? And how can you justify defining the scientific standard of neutrality as being irrelevant? Though yes I will bring this up on the talk page instead now.Jfraatz (talk) 20:44, 18 May 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Wulong bohaiensis

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wulong bohaiensis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://carnivora.net/wulong-bohaiensis-t7939.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. 2021 in reptile paleontology moved to draftspace

Please do not put content-free articles into mainspace; we do not deal in placeholders. Move into mainspace once there is at least one bona fide item to include on the page. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 01:25, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Do not edit war

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
The article is now fully protected because of your poor behavior which means no other editors can edit the article, thanks heaps mate. Bacondrum 01:14, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

If you come back to the Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory article, please use the talk page to discuss proposed edits, if you return to edit warring or any kind of disruptive behavior I'll seek sanctions, without hesitation. Bacondrum 07:11, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
Excuse me, but I wasn't edit warring. Rather I was simply reverting someone else's attempt at an edit war by insisting on inserting POV terminology into the page. If you choose to interpret it that way, that is not my problem. Jfraatz (talk) 20:59, 23 February 2021 (UTC)jfraatz
