Usage

{{User:Amorymeltzer/wb
|status =
|date =
|why =
|vacay =
|pic =
|other =
|otherimage =
|type =
|user =
}}

The status parameter is the only required value - use it to select the rationale for your wikibreak. Leaving it blank results in the template not appearing, and providing an invalid status will produce a default message.

Status Parameter Use it for
0, no, none, nyet, normal (template doesn't appear)
1, short Short wikibreak
2, long Long wikibreak
3, busy, rl, nebula Busy in real life
4, vacay, partay On vacation
5, family, fam, baby With family
6, other (Whatever you want it to be)

The other parameters modify the messages produced. For example, including a vacay value will say where you are on vacation, whereas specifying why will explain why you are busy. Entering a date will produce a return time, and need not be numerical. The user option allows you to supply a displayed name or style other than just your username.

All images are set to 75x50. If you wish to use one of the specified images but not the one associated with your selected status, indicate which using the pic parameter. The other and otherimage values let you specify your own text and image, respectively, but are only valid when used in conjunction with the sixth/other status. Combining pic = other with otherimage, however, allows you to select an external picture while using the text specified by your status.

Colors

You can also use the type parameter to change the border color. Options are as follows.

Type Parameter Use it for
1, speedy, serious, srs Red with faded-red background
2, delete, semiserious, red Red
3, content, medium, orange Orange
4, style, mild, yellow Yellow
5, move, royal, purple Purple
6, notice, normal, gray, grey Gray (the default)

Examples

{{User:Amorymeltzer/wb
|status = 4
|date = for as long as possible,
|vacay = somewhere warm and far away from here,
|pic = short
}}

Produces:

Amorymeltzer is on vacation somewhere warm and far away from here, for as long as possible, and is therefore far happier than you.
{{User:Amorymeltzer/wb
|status = rl
|date = until ]
|why = ]
|pic = 6
|otherimage = Triforce.svg
|type = srs
}}

Produces:

Amorymeltzer is busy in real life fighting the man and will therefore be editing in a rather nebulous and unpredictable fashion until Ragnarök.
