I've severely cut the article because much of it was discussing the characteristics of each ethnic group, rather than their origins. Most of these categories actually have very little information about how they arrived in Burma, beyond a passing reference to the British colonial rule. If someone has more or better information please do add it. — ]\] 16:09, 2 July 2010 (UTC) I've severely cut the article because much of it was discussing the characteristics of each ethnic group, rather than their origins. ==Merger again after dividing ?==

Are some of the editors simply playing shuffling games?
At first my '''Burmese Indian''' article is cut off and made into numerous sub articles. The person who done that dividing even never acknowledge about this and my contribution edit history was lost in action. People could think that the person who started the new article had contributed all but almost 100% of this article and others e.g. '''Indians in Burmese History''' are my contributions.
He had done in good intension but my contribution history is lost in the process.
Now want to merger again?
Be careful, '''Burmese Indian''' is already regarded as a '''good article''' and you could ruin in the process.

Edit

I've severely cut the article because much of it was discussing the characteristics of each ethnic group, rather than their origins. Most of these categories actually have very little information about how they arrived in Burma, beyond a passing reference to the British colonial rule. If someone has more or better information please do add it. — e. ripley\ 16:09, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Merger again after dividing ?

Are some of the editors simply playing shuffling games? At first my Burmese Indian article is cut off and made into numerous sub articles. The person who done that dividing even never acknowledge about this and my contribution edit history was lost in action. People could think that the person who started the new article had contributed all but almost 100% of this article and others e.g. Indians in Burmese History are my contributions. He had done in good intension but my contribution history is lost in the process. Now want to merger again? Be careful, Burmese Indian is already regarded as a good article and you could ruin in the process. Darz kkg (talk) 07:05, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
