Howdy. Edits by your bot might not be beneficial. The OTRS permission was not required in this case, and tagging it for deletion, seems to be the wrong thing to do in my opinion. Any thoughts?--] (]) 06:05, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

=== Question === | |||
::Thank you for replying. The first thought that came to my mind was what parameters that template uses. If it comes along '''<nowiki>{{Flickrreview}}</nowiki>''' without any parameters, that means the file hasn't been reviewed yet. This scenario would most likely be extremely rare though. Since your bot only tags images that "...have been tagged with an '''<nowiki>{{OTRS pending}}</nowiki>''' template for more than thirty days." Images with '''<nowiki>{{Flickrreview}}</nowiki>''' rarely (if ever) go 30 days without being reviewed. Your bot may need to pick up whether or not the image has been reviewed or not. '''<nowiki>{{flickrreview|Username|2006-10-20}}</nowiki>''' is an example of an "approved" image. Unfortunately, there are cases where parameters are used when the result is a "disapproval" of an image. '''<nowiki>{{flickrreview|Username|2006-10-20|PD-Magic}}</nowiki>''' is an example of this. To answer your question of "Would that work?", I'm not sure because I don't code bots. :) If it were able to tell the difference between the above situations though, that would be most enjoyable. :) ] (]) 19:41, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Normally, I would say that it is no one's business what a person does or does not do. However, I wonder if you can provide a bit more background based on the facts in this case. You ran for the Committee, then resigned, which was fine. Then you ran a second time and won again, and in that campaign you were repeatedly asked about whether you would resign again and you strongly indicated you would not. Given this pattern, I feel justified in respectfully asking why you have been through a run-resign-run-resign sequence? '''—Jeff''' 02:00, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
::Just to clarify, I think are situations when there is some form of '''<nowiki>{{Flickrreview}}</nowiki>''' on an image page that also has '''<nowiki>{{OTRS pending}}</nowiki>''' on it and I don't think removal of '''<nowiki>{{OTRS pending}}</nowiki>''' would be a good thing. For example when the file was "approved" in a Flickrreview. In that situation, if the Flickrreview was ever doubted, the OTRS queue could be checked. If you'd like clarification on anything I've said, please ask.--] (]) 19:48, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
:He's unlikely to answer that one right now. You might save it for if he returns and runs again.--v/r - ]] 02:13, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
::Thanks, TParis, but I'll answer it.
::One more thing if I may. :) Would you mind if I reverted ? I apologize for not adding all of this in one edit.--] (]) 19:49, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
::Jeff, I'd rather you had logged in to the account I assume you have rather ask this while hiding behind an IP address, but to answer your question, this was not planned. I had promised myself on reelection to sit through this term no matter what happened, out of respect for those who elected me if nothing else. However, at this point, being on the Committee is far too stressful for it to be practical or healthy for me to continue doing in my free time. That aside, the current incident involving Cla68 and Kevin is continuing, with several more people having been outed since Cla68's initial attempt to out Russavia. Given the increased risk of being harassed and outed inherent in arbitrator-ship, it seems likely that that net will expand to include one or more arbitrators before too much longer, if action is not taken to stop it. I value my privacy and personal safety, and have an obligation to protect my family as well.
::So yes, I have broken a campaign promise. It certainly wasn't my intention to do so, but under the circumstances I hope that the majority of the community will understand. If I do return to regular editing at some point in the future, you needn't worry; I do not believe I would run for a seat on the Committee ever again, unless some serious changes are made in how the community treats what are supposed to be among the most trusted and respected of their colleagues. ] (]/]/]) 02:15, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
:::Fair enough, thanks for the reply. I suppose the gist of this is that you seem to indicate that your family would not be safe if your real name was known. It is hard for me to imagine a situation in which that would be true. However, you started participating here with an implied promise of anonymity, and due to the good work of the people at WO and elsewhere, that is no longer a probable outcome, so that is an understandable reason to leave. Take care, —'''Jeff''' 03:07, 13 March 2013 (UTC)~

==Keep your head up== | |||
:::Answering the last post first, yes, please go ahead if you're sure that picture is OK. That goes for any page where you're certain the bot is incorrect (although please let me know, of course!).
:::As for the first and second, it shouldn't be too difficult to add a few lines of code to search for an "approved" template of the form <nowiki>{{(F|f)lickrreview||YYYY-MM-DD}}</nowiki> Anything with an extra parameter, or missing those two, would not be noticed and so the bot would flag the image for deletion as normal. In the case you mention in the second case, though, would it be better for the bot to simply ignore the flickr-approved images then? Hi Hersfold. I was saddened to see your resignation and was hoping to offer a few kind words before anything was done, but I see over at ] it's too late. Being an Arbitrator is the most difficult position one could volunteer for on Misplaced Pages and all you get in return is grief. This is a sad fact of the Misplaced Pages of today. I will say that I'm very thankful that you and other people are willing to help in this area because the alternative would be chaos. I'm sad to see it's had such a negative impact on your time here and hope that you'll try to remember some of the more pleasant experiences. As other's have said above, there are a lot of other projects under the WMF umbrella that could use an experienced person. I hope you'll consider volunteering at one of the more quiet areas. Thanks for all the help you've provided to the project over the years. Wishing you well. ] (]) 10:24, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

::::It looks as though that was caused because the links still specified http:// and not https://... so Mediawiki, thinking it was being smart, tried to fix it with that extra /secure/ crap and instead messed things up. But at the same time, very understandable. I kinda understand where the committee is coming from on a number of major issues. It has taken some time, but I believe Arb Com is too overworked, too understaffed (although a lot of editors would disagree with that, I suppose) and burned at both ends with people not trying to sort things out themselves. Oddly, it'll randomly turn itself on (sometimes) several months later. I can't figure it out. == Re. Your bot's automated message on my talk page ==
The article clearly states that the significance of the subject is that the band is the first band ever to be signed to a gay pornography company, Eurocreme, with a reference to that company’s diversification strategy. The references in the article to non-trivial published works satisfy Misplaced Pages’s notability criteria for musicians and ensembles:
I actually knew that I was exceeding the word limit at the ], but according to the top of the page, I can request permission for an extended posting of evidence should the need arise — and ]. Would contacting one of the arbitrators be a good idea under these circumstances? I imagine that it is ''exceedingly rare'' for the arbitrators to grant somebody permission to exceed the word limit, and I doubt they will make an exception in my case, but is it worth the time to even bring this up with them? ] ] 00:28, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
A musician or ensemble (note that this includes a band, singer, rapper, orchestra, DJ, musical theatre group, etc.) may be notable if it meets at least one of the following criteria:
Has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician or ensemble itself and reliable.

:I don't see that there were multiple reliable sources as you claim. There was one link to xBiz.com, but all of the remaining references provided went to YouTube (which we ask editors to avoid linking), the band's own website, or to sound clips of their own music, which are unreliable (in the first two cases) or don't provide any encyclopedic value (in the first and third cases). If this the first band to be signed to a pornography company, that could be notable, however again, you'll need more reliable sources to back that up. Please could you further explain your reasoning for your deletion of this article. You list no speedy delete criteria and give the reason "single sentence provides no encyclopaedic value" which also doesn't seem to match any of the criteria. From what I remember it certainly wasn't an A1 or A7 candidate. If you deleted under IAR then I think you erred as in my opinion this should only be used in clear cut cases and I think the community consensus on cases such as this is far from clear. Additionally I also note that the deletion policy states that where there is doubt over whether a speedy delete criteria applies other routes should be followed. As a reasonably experienced editor I'd have hoped you'd have taken more account of my view that it didn't, which should have been clear from the logs as I had previously removed the speedy request. ] (]) 15:37, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
There is a backlog of over {{Rounddown|{{formatnum:{{PAGESINCATEGORY:Pending AfC submissions}}|R}}|-2}} articles, so start reviewing articles! Visit the ] and help out!
: '''Dpmuk:''' Absolutely Yes, The decision was acceptable to community regarding deletion of article, this things has not been decided in a single moment, instead a extensive discussion has been done with many wikipedians. The Admin took the decision as after discussing with many community members. I think the admin's decision was right in his way as there was no doubt about articles speedy deletion criteria, so other routes were not followed.( <small>]</small> 16:19, 10 October 2010 (UTC))
::Dpmuk, you are correct in that schools are exempt from A7 criteria, and I did take your comments into consideration. However, as Abu pointed out to me later, the article was still in very bad shape, toeing the line on several speedy deletion criteria. Under ], it only barely manages to identify the subject of the article beyond the obvious with "is a government science school started in 1995 to enhance science education in the state." Under ], again, it doesn't do terribly much more than restate the title of the article, with the only useful content being the line I quoted previously. When discussing it with another administrator, they suggested that ] could apply, although that case is admittedly weaker than the previous two. Finally, while there is no explicit policy about it, there is a minimum level of effort expected for our articles. This clearly did not take much effort to write, evidence by the short length, capitalization, and grammatical errors throughout. Misplaced Pages is an encyclopedia, and this article, such as it was, provided no encyclopedic content. For all of these reasons, I chose to delete it without involving other processes, in order to avoid wasting the community's time. Had I PROD'd the article, I would simply be asking someone else to do my work for me a week in the future; and had I AfD'd the article, I'd doing that as well as wasting the time of other contributors who came to comment on the discussion. In this case, deletion seemed to be inevitable, so ] told me to speed things along and get back to improving the project. ] (]/]/]) 00:41, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
:::Although I sympathise with your view I cannot support it. Personally I don't subscribe to the view that all secondary schools are notable, and I'd support a speedy delete criteria to delete articles like this but at the moment one doesn't exist (you admit above that it doesn't meet any of the criteria). Speedy delete criteria are narrowly construed for a reason - to ensure that there would be consensus to delete, and in this case I'm far from sure there would be consensus. One line articles are often considered valid stubs and all secondary schools are considered notable so I can't see how anyone can reach the reasonable conclusion that this is certain to be deleted (likely maybe but that doesn't reach the bar required for speedy deletion). As such I'd like to see this page restored and taken to AfD as I don't think it's certain that community consensus will be with you. As a slight aside I also don't believe in IAR speedy deletions except in very exceptional circumstances, but I accept opinion is divided on this. I also believe that ensuring process is followed does improve the encyclopaedia as we won't scare off new editors by making them think admins can do what they want and ignore process, although in this case I'm not just asking for the sake of process - I'm honestly unsure what consensus will be. I'm also interested where the discussions of this article took place - I can not find one any where on wikipedia.
:::Finally I think it may help if you had a word with abutorsam007. You'll see from my discussion with them on their talk page that he seems to have got the wrong end of the stick concerning consensus, the role of admins and one or two other things and they don't seem to want to listen to me as because an "admin" has said it's OK that's the end of the issue. ] (]) 10:48, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
::::I greatly dislike doing this, as I do feel it is a waste of time (anyone wanting to improve the article would need to start from scratch anyway), however if you're going to be stubborn about it, then fine. I'll have the AfD open soon. ] (]/]/]) 15:46, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
:::::If it does turn out to be a waste of time, I'll happily apologise and I'll hope you can think of it as a learning point for me as I will happily admit when I made a mistake. However I will be truly surprised if it doesn't get one or two keep votes. ] (]) 15:52, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
::::::I would as well, but then that's how Misplaced Pages works - there will almost always be one or two users who will pop in with a contrary opinion just so that, in their minds, it's justified as a discussion. The fact that we're now making a mountain out of a molehill won't help matters either, and I wouldn't be surprised if the AfD closed as keep, not because of any merits of the article, but solely because of the reason it's there in the first place. Anyway, the AfD is posted. ] (]/]/]) 16:03, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
:::::::Well I have to disagree with your "The fact that we're now making a mountain out of a molehill won't help matters either" statement. Hopefully be AfDing a few articles such as this consensus will become clear that such articles are not warranted and we can get a new CSD criteria to cover them. At the moment I'm sure many such articles aren't tagged for speedy because, as you yourself admit, they don't meet any of the crtieria. I wonder how many of those people bother to take to AfD? If these articles are never taken to AfD and just IAR deleted such consensus can never form - after all consensus forming should take place on wikipedia not by a limited set of users on IRC. ] (]) 22:11, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi there {{BASEPAGENAME}}! You may be wondering, what have I done to sound the ] this time? Nothing. I'm messaging you in regards to the adopt-a-user program, which currently has a backlog of users wishing to be adopted. This doesn't make much sense, as we have a considerable list of users offer adoption, so there shouldn't be any backlog. I've begun to eliminate this backlog myself through ], but I need '''your''' help to make it work. Of course, adoptees and adopters don't have to go through there, but I believe it helps eliminate the backlog because someone is actively matching pairs.
Hi Hersfold, this is just to let you know that I have unprotected ], as it didn't look like you were using it, and it was (presumably accidentally?) cascade-protecting {{tl|ombox}} and {{tl|tl}}. On the ], I have modified the middle column to say "Interests." It's easier working with other users that have similar interests, so if it's not too much to ask, could you add your interests in the middle column? For example, if I was interested in hurricanes, computers, business, and ... reptiles? I would place those in the middle column. Counter-vandalism and the like can also be included (maintenance should be used as the general term). The more interests, the better, since adoptees can learn more about you and choose the one they feel most comfortable working with. The information about when you're most active and other stuff can go into the "Notes" section to the right.

Finally, I've gone around and asked adoptees (and will in the future) to fill in a short survey so adopters can take the initiative and contact users they feel comfortable working with. We all know that most adoptees just place the adopt me template on their user page and leave it - so it's up to us to approach them and offer adoption. So, please take a look at ], adopt those that fit your interests, and maybe watchlist it so you can see the interests of adoptees and adopt one that fits your interests in the future.

== Possible SPI case merger? ==
Hi. I've been rather involved with SPI in the past relating to a number of different and exceptionally tenacious sockpuppets and I always try to err on the side of fewer accusations as the editors I am dealing with often only have a few edits to their name and I try to abide by WP:BITE. With that said, there are often newcomer editors that make a few edits that really make me suspicious and I try to follow up on those if I can remember. One such editor I notice has recently been caught up in a different SPI and is now banned as the sockpuppet of a user I'd never heard of. At ] I noticed that along with "User:Drakes Fortune" you had identified "User:Ikemen" as sockpuppets of "User:Wikipedian05." This surprised me because I had suspected both as having been sockpuppets of User:Dr90s (see ] for reference). Reviewing the facts from both casepages and especially noting:
*A) The peculiarly combative nature of User:Drakes Fortune's 3 edits - all targeting me and apropos of nothing (Dr90s would, I think, be the only "enemy" I have at Misplaced Pages)
*B) The use of the name "Drake's Fortune" which comes from the title of a game that has been one of Dr90s' favorite articles to edit
*C) User:Drakes Fortune's interest in Famitsu (another article frequently edited by Dr90s)
*D) The fascination of User:Ikemem with the direction of The Ocarina of Time game in the Zelda series (Dr90s' pet interest above all others) which even prompted ] at the Ocarina of Time talk page.
*E) The fact that User:Wikipedian05 and User:Dr90s share such an interest in rankings and both edit from schools in Tokyo, Japan.
I believe that it is highly likely that Wikipedian05 and Dr90s are one and the same. I am now wondering if there is some good way to merge the two SPIs that I believe cover the same person. Is this possible? Would I have to file a new SPI listing Wikipedian05 as a sockpuppet of Dr90s and support it with proofs?
== Today's Wikipedian 10 years ago ==
Secondly, in passing I wanted to mention that for a long time I've been suspicious that Dr90s was the same as User:Wikipedian06. The fact that Wikipedian05 seems so similar to Dr90s lends even more support to the vague suspicion I'd always had about the Dr90s-Wikipedian06 connection (originally based on similar viewpoint and highly similar combative editing styles but now backed up by a highly similar username). Wikipedian06 is currently banned for vandalism, but if you think there is any merit in his connection to the other accounts I mentioned earlier then perhaps he should be joined in the SPI as well. Perhaps all of the WikipedianXX users should be reviewed? I don't know. Please let me know what you think of this Wikipedian06 business as well.

Question
Normally, I would say that it is no one's business what a person does or does not do. However, I wonder if you can provide a bit more background based on the facts in this case. You ran for the Committee, then resigned, which was fine. Then you ran a second time and won again, and in that campaign you were repeatedly asked about whether you would resign again and you strongly indicated you would not. Given this pattern, I feel justified in respectfully asking why you have been through a run-resign-run-resign sequence? —Jeff 02:00, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- He's unlikely to answer that one right now. You might save it for if he returns and runs again.--v/r - TP 02:13, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, TParis, but I'll answer it.
- Jeff, I'd rather you had logged in to the account I assume you have rather ask this while hiding behind an IP address, but to answer your question, this was not planned.
- So yes, I have broken a campaign promise. Hersfold 02:15, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fair enough, thanks for the reply. Take care, —Jeff 03:07, 13 March 2013 (UTC)~
- I sympathise, and it's deeply regrettable that vindictive individuals have driven you to this. My best wishes for your future endeavours. Prioryman (talk) 08:12, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I agree with Prioryman here, wholeheartedly. It's disgusting, and IMHO actionable, to violate or threaten to violate the privacy of individuals who choose to edit responsibly with a pseudonym. Hersfold, I respect your decision to step back, but I hope you can find a way to keep a hand in with editing and article improvement, even if you just make a fresh start. --Lexein (talk) 14:44, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Wishing you the best
Hi Hersfold. I was saddened to see your resignation and was hoping to offer a few kind words before anything was done, but I see over at m:srp it's too late. 64.40.54.205 (talk) 10:24, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Never mind the silly hats on a volunteer internet project, I'm sorry to see you so worried and bothered. I hope that you can find some peace. That there are many, many people here who respect and admire you is easy enough to prove by flitting through some old election pages. --Dweller (talk) 13:07, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Draw dropping
But at the same time, very understandable. I don't have answers that will save the day and stop all the active hostility to Arb com....but I am trying to find ways to help the community along with a handful of others editors. I kinda understand where the committee is coming from on a number of major issues. It has taken some time, but I believe Arb Com is too overworked, too understaffed (although a lot of editors would disagree with that, I suppose) and burned at both ends with people not trying to sort things out themselves. We simply do not have all the tools as editors to get over conflict. Should you find this interesting at all...I have started Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Conflict Resolution to attempt to address conduct and conflict issues that are more than simple incivility. Take some time to take a little break, experiance friends and family and if you would like, join us there if you wish.--Amadscientist (talk) 06:15, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

The Special Barnstar | |
For all of your hard work here, especially as an ArbCom member. The treatment which many Arbs (especially you) have been accorded is disgraceful and I rather wish the entire committee would resign and let all the naysayers try to run things. They'd be incomprehensibly worse than the current Arbs. AutomaticStrikeout (T • C) 21:12, 14 March 2013 (UTC) |

A kitten
FeydHuxtable has given you a kitten! Kittens promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Your kitten must be fed three times a day and will be your faithful companion forever! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a kitten, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Spread the goodness of kittens by adding {{subst:Kitten}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or kittynap their kitten with {{subst:Kittynap}}
I came here to thank you for your work on the RAN case and especially for the way you commended the parties and participants for being relatively collegial. Like Carrite I wasnt happy with the outcome, but I dont think you could have played your part any better, and much of the credit for the smooth running of the case, especially towards the end, has to go to you as drafting arb. Gutting to see you've resigned. A huge loss to the project, but I guess the time you'll free up will make this a good move for you personally, and maybe it will help the project understand how unruly the "community" is becoming. Hope you like this kitten watching over your user page while you're semi retired. FeydHuxtable (talk) 09:46, 17 March 2013 (UTC)

Requesting mediation on the subject of User:Launchballer's signature. I see you've had discussions with this user before, and since the user informed me that he had previous issues and my issue was never brought up then, I have decided to research this. I've so far found you have had issues there before, and would like you to help mediate this to make sure the user understands there is no "grandfathering" as it were of signatures. Re. Your bot's automated message on my talk page
I actually knew that I was exceeding the word limit at the Kiefer/Ironholds RFAR, but according to the top of the page, I can request permission for an extended posting of evidence should the need arise — and I've done so. Would contacting one of the arbitrators be a good idea under these circumstances? I imagine that it is exceedingly rare for the arbitrators to grant somebody permission to exceed the word limit, and I doubt they will make an exception in my case, but is it worth the time to even bring this up with them? Vikramsingh
You blocked this user in 09 for socking, a new editor has turned up on the 2002 Gujarat violence and has copied and pasted a large section of text from other articles, a search of this text shows it is from the Godhra train burning article, but given the amount of revdels it is not possible to find who added it, however wikiblame (assuming I used it correctly) points the finger at Vikramsingh. As I have not found this content elsewhere I am thinking this new guy is a sock, but as I cannot see the exact edits made due to the revdels I am stuck? Implementation of Misplaced Pages:Bureaucrats#Bureaucrat activity requirements
You are receiving this message because you are listed at Misplaced Pages:Bureaucrats#Former bureaucrats. Writ Keeper pointed out that these users were not directly notified of the community discussion ending August 2015, where consensus was reached to remove the bureaucrat permissions of users who have not participated in bureaucrat activity for three years.
As of 1 October 2015, any former bureaucrat who has not participated in bureaucrat activity for three years that wishes their bureaucrat permissions restored will need to request reinstatement at RFB.
If you intend to return to bureaucrat activity, please request restoration of permissions before 1 October 2015 or three years passes since your last bureaucrat activity, whichever is later.
“ | Bureaucrats are expected to exercise the duties granted by their role while remaining cognizant of relevant community standards concerning their tasks. In addition to the "Inactive bureaucrat accounts" requirements, if a bureaucrat does not participate in bureaucrat activity for over three years, their bureaucrat permissions may be removed. The user must be notified on their talk page and by email one month before the removal, and again and a few days prior to the removal. If the user does not return to bureaucrat activity, another bureaucrat may request the removal of permissions at meta:Steward requests/Permissions. Permissions removed for not meeting bureaucrat activity requirements may be re-obtained through a new request for bureaucratship.
|
” |
To assist with the implementation of this requirement, please see Misplaced Pages:Bureaucrat activity. Modeled after Misplaced Pages:Inactive administrators and similar to that process, the log page will be created on 1 September 2015. Bureaucrats who have not met the activity requirements as of that date will be notified by email (where possible) and on their talk page to advise of the pending removal.
If the notified user does not return to bureaucrat activity and the permissions are removed, they will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFB. Removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon the affected user in any way.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. –xeno 20:53, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- Please note that any potential restoration of permissions is also subject to Misplaced Pages:Bureaucrats#Inactive bureaucrat accounts: a former bureaucrat who has been completely inactive for three years would need to seek reinstatement at WP:RFB notwithstanding the above. –xeno 12:26, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Tltt2
A tag has been placed on Template:Tltt2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —andrybak (talk) 20:00, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
Special:WantedTemplates
Hi, I have been cleaning up Special:WantedTemplates and noticed that Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:"_+_"oldafdfull"_+_" is pointing to your AFDcloser.js pages. clearly these are false positives (basically a bug in how WP parses .js pages). it would be really great if you could add // <syntaxhighlight lang=javascript>
to the top and // </syntaxhighlight>
to the bottom of those pages. by putting these tags in comments, it won't prevent the javascript from executing, but it will remove those pages from Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:"_+_"oldafdfull"_+_". thank you in advance for your help. Frietjes (talk) 20:06, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
