The 2008 Harper Creek Marching Band consisted of 24 performers, 18 wind, 2 percussion, 3 colorguard, and 1 drum major. The theme this year is music from "]". Featuring four different selections, "I Want To Hold Your Hand", "Hey Jude" (featuring a Trumpet and Color Guard soloist), "Eleanor Rigby" (also featuring a Trumpet soloist), and "Magical Mystery Tour" / "A Hard Days Night". The band received 4th place at the Otsego Marching Band Invitational. Though a last place finish they did manage to bring home the Best Marching Award. As for the 2008 season, it has concluded. In 2004, the Colorguard managed to bring home two first-place finishes at the Hastings Competition and the Otsego Competitions, the band followed closely behind in second and third places.
