| She was the yougnest of six children of Martin Lovrenčević and Ivana Lovrenčević. She was born in Zagreb on 3 March 1897. She met her future housband in 1915 when she was 18. He was 8 years older then her. In the same year, they both found job in office of lawyer dr. Aleksandar Horvat.
