'''Angela''' is a ] by trade. A short, curly-haired woman, she makes most of her living by ] for the richer women of ] and conjuring ] that she claims may or may not work. Angela explains that most of the time she does not use true arts to tell the fortunes of the aristocrats, but she does use magic to learn of the future of Eragon. She admits that his future is hard to read but reveals that he will have many choices in his future but only one path will lead him to a peaceful ending. Angela also appears in ], the headquarters of the ]. There she seems to be one of the more powerful users of magic. She comes to Eragon's rescue during the battle under ], wielding a two handed dwarf weapon, as revealed in ]. She also is in Eldest, watching over Elva, the child Eragon mistakenly cursed, fights on the Burning Plains, and poisons the enemy army's food and water supply.
