: ''"Here in Misplaced Pages, there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go un-appreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go un-noticed. Sadly, these editors often leave the project. As Esperanzians, we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. A project the size of Misplaced Pages has thousands of editors, so there are plenty of people out there who deserve recognition, one just has to find them. The object of this program is not to flood editors with Barnstars, but to seek out people who deserve them, and make them feel appreciated."''

==]==
Sorry for the bother, but at last check of the calendar, for our purposes, it is March 6 (UTC), one week before March 13. Now, I have been thinking it over, and I urge you to accept my nomination for adminship. Why a week too early? Well:
*Within the last few days alone, on many occasions, sysop privilleges would have been in your best interest.
*For example, just a half hour ago, the Manchester F. C. vandal made 2 more hits of the page ''after'' your test4 warning. Now I am certain this has happened many times.
*If a nomination goes through now, you will have sysop privilleges by next weekend. If a nomination goes through next week, sysop privilleges won't be available until March 20.
*If you were able to implement blocks and so forth without the intervention of another admin, I, for example, wouldn't have to list your test4 vandals at AIV, allowing me to track other vandals, and the intervening admin could spend their time more efficiently by not having to block users that you tracked down on your behalf.
*Your first nom. from Sceptre came after one month, but today, you are one week short of three months - I don't see too many oppose votes at this point for "lack of experience". Plus, you respectably withdrew the first one.
Please accept. Its all for the best. --]'''<font style="background:gold">(])'''</font> 18:32, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Are you assuming that people are going to be able to directly electrolysize molten salt in their homes, or are you refering to a solution of NaCl? Esperanza Newsletter, Issue #2

Barnstar Brigade
The Barnstar Brigade is a new program aimed at giving more very deserving yet unappreciated users barnstars. It will officially start on 2006-04-09, but signing up is encouraged before this date:
"Here in Misplaced Pages, there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go un-appreciated. The object of this program is not to flood editors with Barnstars, but to seek out people who deserve them, and make them feel appreciated."
Stress Alerts
The Stress alerts program aims at identifying users who are stressed, alerting the community of thier stress and works in tandem with the Stressbusters at trying to identify causes of stress and eliminating them.
Information
Welcome to the second issue of the new format Esperanza Newsletter - we hope you still like it! This week, it was delivered diligently by our new dogsbody. MiszaBot (run by Misza13): any execution complaints should go to him. Content comments should be directed at the Esperanza talkpage. Thanks!
The last AC meeting (full log)
  1. The next elections: Approval voting as before and, also as before, an previous leadership member can run. Please submit your name for voting in the relevant section of this page. Voting starts on 2006-04-23 and ends on 2006-04-30. There will be three places up for grabs as KnowledgeOfSelf is leaving Misplaced Pages. Please see the previously linked page for full details.
  2. The Code of Conduct is now ready for extensive discussion! Specific comments should go to the Code of Conduct talk page, discussion of having one at all should be directed to the main Esperanza talk page.
  3. The current process for accepting proposals for new programs has been deemed fine. All Advisory Council members and the Admin Gen are to endevour to be bold when viewing discussion. If they feel that consensus has been reached, they will act accordingly.

Can't sleep, clown will eat me RFA 33⅓

Thank you for your early support during my third RFA. The self-nomination was successful, with an unexpected number of participants from all over. If you ever need anything, are feeling snackish, or would just like to chat, please feel free to visit me on my talk page; I never sleep. 8-) Can't sleep, clown will eat me 19:47, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Please help

The anon at the Galatasaray page just changed their IP and is now making personal attacks. Can you please semi-protect the page? Thanks. --Khoikhoi 23:48, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Roger Stone

Hi!!! I presume you are referring to Roger Stone's wikpage. What did I do?? All I did was fix some links and delete vandalism (about an orgy). Check for yourself!! 216.194.58.76 00:31, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

I have replied on your talk page. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 00:33, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Marriage

Hi there. You protected this about two weeks ago. Since WP:SEMI is for dealing with serious, current vandals, I figure it's been more than long enough to unprotect it now. Can I ask you to check your other recent protections and lift them as necessary, also to remember protections in general? CAT:SEMI is nearly 100 items, most of them seem to have been forgotten by the protecting admin. Thanks. -Splash 22:15, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

More vandal whacking thanks

Hey many thanks for deleting those Squidward revisions on my userpage and usertalk, as always, it is appreciated. Regards -- Banez 07:57, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Chad revert

Regarding the test on Chad page, if you look at the present location of the two images in the center, the image on the left overlaps on the line above atleast it did on my firefox browser, so i changed the image location to the right so the page had both the images in center on the right and no content was added or deleted by me, and it was no test that i was conducting on the wikipedia, frankly speaking you should have looked at the content of the page before sending me such a warning and i think it was nothing more than a gross misuse of administrative power given to you at wikipedia.(210.214.11.38 19:26, 15 April 2006 (UTC))

Your edit removed the end of the article. Also, please mind WP:NPA. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 19:27, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof 1.1 is Now Available For Download

Happy Easter to all of you, and I hope that this version may fix your current problems and perhaps provide you with a few useful new tools. You can download version 1.1 at User:AmiDaniel/VandalProof. Let me warn you, however, to please be extremely careful when using the new Rollback All Contributions feature, as, aside from the excessive server lag it would cause if everyone began using it at once, it could seriously aggitate several editors to have their contributions reverted. If you would like to experiment with it, though, I'd be more than happy to use my many sockpuppets to create some "vandalism" for you to revert. If you have any problems downloading, installing, or otherwise, please tell me about them at User:AmiDaniel/VP/Bugs and I will do my best to help you. Thanks. AmiDaniel (Talk) 06:48, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Sorry

I'm sorry if you think I'm too new to be an adminship but I've been being a Wikipedian since December, 2003. I just didn't have an account. I know all about Misplaced Pages. I have interviewed many Wikipedians and have even made friends with a few. I WAS a perfect adminship nominee. An old nominee, General Eisenhower 17:25, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Undeletion of Myg0t

I have undeleted Myg0t per this deletion review debate. Since you were listed as the deleting admin, I am notifying you of my action. If you feel this is incorrect, please notify me. Thanks Naconkantari e|t||c|m 21:14, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

That's fine. But note that you haven't actually undeleted the article. Currently, the history only goes back to April 3, with 134 revisions still deleted. dbenbenn | talk 22:29, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
So, would you object if I went ahead and actually undeleted that article? User:dbenbenn 20:36, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
No, not at all. The reason that I left the old article deleted was because the history was filled with vandalism. If you want to restore the whole history, go ahead. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 20:38, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Sevenlinefeatures

Can you please block this user? I gave him his final vandalism warning and put my complaint on the Admin block page but the guy has gone on a rampage. It's absurd. --Strothra 20:42, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

My RfA

Sorry about the malformed RfA. I fixed it. I found that directions a little confusing. I have Nonverbal learning disorder and I'm only 10. Please change your vote. Jonathan235 21:41, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I don not feel that you are ready to be an administrator. A bureaucrat has removed your nomination from the main page. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 21:42, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Cuba

If you'd read my own talk page you'd see the discussion about the software bug that caused it - i am not a newbie or a vandal - i've been an administrator for three years and been with the 'pedia for five. PMA 02:18, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Ok. However, if your edits continue to cut off the ends of articles, they will be reverted. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 02:20, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
It isn't my fault though - as Redvers said on my talk page it's happened to him too - i shouldn't be blamed for a software bug. PMA 02:24, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
It most likely isn't your fault, but if you continue to have problems, please post them on Bugzilla or in #wikimedia-tech on . Naconkantari e|t||c|m 02:27, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi Naconkantari. I wanted to ask about meaning of this "scan failed". Does this mean that this host is not a proxy, or it was offline at the moment of scan? It is important because this IP is involved in ArbCom case on Russian Misplaced Pages. Best regards, MaxSem 09:34, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

On further review, this ip is originating from a web-server, which is a good indication of a proxy server. However, I was unable to connect to Misplaced Pages from the ip. The ip is registered to Centertelecom Service, so it may also be a user with a web-server on their computer. I would now mark it as being inconclusive. Sockpuppetry on Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy

Permission to use IRC logs.

Hey there, I was wondering if I had your permission to publish some of your IRC chat on Misplaced Pages, specifically:

«12:43:53» {+Naconkantari} AWB's verification is too easy to defeat

I previously had these up in accordance to m:IRC Channels, as the channel you said it in #vandalism-en-wp did not have a rule against logging visible on a related website or on WP:IRC and related pages. However, despite the fact that the logs were related to a ongoing discussion, and they were trimmed to size, an administrator with personal involvement to the issue deleted the content. As such, I am seeking permission of use from every user I am quoted. Your cooperation would be appreciated.

Thanks, Avillia 19:52, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Could you please direct me to the content that was deleted? Thanks. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 21:16, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

May 2 - sandbox?

You are persistently reverting my adjustments to the page regarding May 2. Why is this? You talk about experimentation! This is not experimentation! The challenge is the scholarship exam of Westminster School, one of the most important exams in the country, and Alexander Entwistle is going for it. Please stop adjusting this addition! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alexandere111 (talkcontribs) 25 April 2006 (UTC)

As I said on the talk page at that article,

If only I could have made this up, I'd be on to better and bigger things than Misplaced Pages by now. But that's not the case:- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1575021501/qid=1146002303/sr=1-8/ref=sr_1_8/104-0106382-2973531?v=glance&s=books

Bah

Please be careful, as a newbie, about the overzealous use of warning templates. It's exceptionally rude to do that to someone who obviously knows what the 3RR is, which is why, you might note, that I haven't broken it. Ambi 05:00, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

I'm well aware that you haven't broken it, but you did revert the page three times. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 13:39, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

accusation of vandalism

okay if you take a look at the history of the article, i simply add the extra information deleted. In addition, if you watch the NBA, you will know the stuff I wrote are, by no means, vandalism. Please stop accusing me of being a vandal. Thanks--Bonafide.hustla 02:03, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Why?

So I try a post article about Tesia Samara, something that wasn't easy for me to do, and it gets deleted for no reason? You have some kind of problem with Transgender people? Osaria 10:20pm April 26th (of all days to delete a GLBT article)

A landslide victory for The JPS (aka RFA thanks)

Hey, Nakon/archive3, thank you so much for your vote and comments in my RfA, which passed with an overwhelming consensus of 95/2/2. I was very surprised and flattered that the community has entrusted me with these lovely new toys. I ripped open the box and started playing with them as soon as I got them, and I've already had the pleasure of deleting random nonsense/attacks/copyvios tonight.
If I ever do anything wrong, or can help in some way, please feel free to drop me a line on my talk page, and I will do my best to correct my mistake, or whatever...
Now, to that bottle of wine waiting for me...

WP:POINT

Re: Your comments in Misplaced Pages:Articles_for_deletion/Circle_of_Death_(drinking_game). I think I've finally figured out why you believe my nominations were in violation of WP:POINT, although no thanks to you. To someone who didn't read the original comment carefully and in context, it might appear that I am nominating all the articles out of spite over the nomination of Bizu-Bizu.

In the future, I suggest you read discussions carefully and not jump to the conclusion that things are done in bad faith. That is all. Aplomado - UTC 04:14, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
