On the other hand, I see that your only contribution so far has been the removal without any explanation of external links from some 50-55 articles. Hello Matthias, and thanks for your reply. If that is all that you are deleting, then it is indeed a good thing. But on, for example, ], you have also taken out the official website of the town of Greifswald, and a useful/relevant webpage (although admittedly a bit amateurish) on the ruined monastery pictures of Caspar David Friedrich from the website of the Friends of Arnsburg Abbey: both of these are also on the German Misplaced Pages, and if you just stop and think about it, such sites are likely to be the closest thing to official websites for ruined monasteries, so please can you be more selective? And as per ], if you use Edit summaries it avoids creating the impression that you are vandalising. ] (]) 12:49, 7 May 2010 (UTC) | |||

Welcome!
Welcome to Misplaced Pages, MatthiasHuehr! I am Marek69 and have been editing Misplaced Pages for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Misplaced Pages! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Misplaced Pages
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

- Hello Matthias. I am going to revert your latest edits and invite you to discuss your proposed changes on the talk pages of the articles concerned at Streckelsberg and Vitt. If you persist in deleting links and references when you know your actions are contested without entering into a debate you risk being reported for persistent disruptive editing which may result in a ban. --Bermicourt (talk) 19:19, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
Why did you delete the official link of Vitt?

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
