== Compromised account ==
==Thanks!==
Please disregard the previous message, my account has evidently been compromised. That is a really serious allegation to make and I'm shocked that someone would write that. I am perfectly fine and well, I've just chosen to stop editing Misplaced Pages following the incident yesterday, it's a choice I made because I haven't edited for about a year, came back briefly and now this has happened, so I just feel that it's best to stop for good now. The repercussions of such a message are so serious, I can assure you that I most certainly did not write that. I would never do anything like that. I would like my account to be blocked indefinitely please to protect it from further abuse or being compromised. I chose to retire from Misplaced Pages yesterday, as clearly shown by the retirement notices I put up. I assure you I would never take such action against myself. Thanks Puffin. Well Russia is the biggest country on the planet. These districts combined which I've started today are likely the size of several Europes. It should not have taken 10 years to get them started so I see it as a must start, however stubby. At least they are now in the process of being started and in a good place to build upon. They are have articles on Russian wiki, next stage is population/area and maps, gradually.♦ ] 12:34, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

:Hi, Puffin, I've blocked your account as requested, which is also per requirements for accounts that have been compromised. Just as a note for the record, this block does ''not'' reflect any problems with your editing or anything like that, as samtar surmised below. I've left autoblock and IP block disabled, so that you are free to create a new account or edit as an IP if you'd like to. You also still have talk page access, just in case (though we don't normally unblock accounts that have been compromised); I'll remove it if you'd prefer that, or if any further shenanigans occur. Thank you for your work; you're welcome to come back if you want, and good luck to you regardless of what you decide. ] ]] 12:17, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
