] Hi, and thank you for ] to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you recently tried to give ] a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "] move", and it is undesirable because it splits the ], which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Misplaced Pages has a feature that allows pages to be ''moved'' to a new title together with their edit history. | |||
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the ] at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a ] from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at ] to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at ]. Orphaned non-free image File:Hannah Montana The Collection.png
Thanks for uploading File:Hannah Montana The Collection.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. — ξ 00:20, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Taylor Swift Sparks Fly Performance.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Taylor Swift Sparks Fly Performance.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. c&pmove
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you recently tried to give Reba (disambiguation) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Misplaced Pages has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Misplaced Pages:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. - Why are you giving a warning to a user who is indef blocked?! — Statυs (talk, contribs) 01:46, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Misplaced Pages:Cut and paste move repair holding pen
- If this account is still monitored, then one of the watchers, or the blocked contributor, might actually list other cut-and-paste moves on this talk page (blocked person), or at WP:SPLICE (other users) -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 00:21, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Taylor Swift - Fearless single.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Taylor Swift - Fearless single.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Misplaced Pages (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of File:Anywhere But Here soundtrack.png
The file File:Anywhere But Here soundtrack.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in Anywhere but Here (film)#Soundtrack. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:48, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of File:The Little Mermaid II Return to the Sea (soundtrack).jpg
The file File:The Little Mermaid II Return to the Sea (soundtrack).jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea#Soundtrack. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE and MOS:TVPRODUCTION. In addition, the soundtrack album cover art and the movie poster art are pretty much the same image and two non-free files which provided essentially the same information aren't needed per WP:NFCC#3a.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Nick Palatas in Lake Monster.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Nick Palatas in Lake Monster.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Misplaced Pages may not meet the criteria required by Misplaced Pages:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Misplaced Pages:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука 18:01, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
