== Michael Leary == == Kobbie Mainoo's Height ==

Hi, i corrected the height of Kobbie Mainoo recently, most sources have this wrongly down as 175cm, when in fact is more 183-184cm. There are several stories confirming this and a video of a presenter asking him about EAFC football game mistaking his height, they do a live measurement on this show, Cole Palmer taking the measurement and clarifying this. So please update his measurement to the correct measurement as it seems most computer games and websites are basing their work off of his wikipedia info.
"Hi Matty reason I have changed it to Michael Leary is a Grimsby fan that what he was known by Michael Leary as not Antonio is the middle name.Indeed on the official page he is known by this as well http://www.grimsby-townfc.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10417~22454,00.html and where he is now he as known as Michael Leary as opposed to Michael Antonio Leary http://www.gainsboroughtrinity.com/gainsborough-trinity-players/Page-2.html

Here are a few links to back this up:
I appreciate that your a avid football fan(like myself) but of interest as well soccerbase is not as accurate as other sites eg official football club team pages as Michael played for us 50 times in total as opposed to what is said on soccerbase 48

Hi Matty. In international goals tables, why are you removing the full stop from the sentence "Scores and results list Templatonia's goal tally first, score column indicates score after each Template goal"? As far as I can tell, it's a complete sentence with a subject, a verb and an object and per ] should go with a full stop. Kind regards, ] (]) 11:11, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
:{{ping|Robby.is.on}} Maybe, but the way it's worded doesn't feel to me like a properly constructed sentence you'd find in regular prose. ::I see what you mean. The sentence leaves out articles and also the word "column" once for brevity (you might find interesting). IPA

Hello Mattythewhite, Why did you revert the IPA in the football player's articles? --BigBullfrog (talk) 17:58, 20 December 2024 (UTC)

@BigBullfrog: I've only removed them when they've been unsourced. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:42, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
Unlike English, languages like German, Dutch, French, Spanish, and Portuguese have very consistent spelling-to-pronunciation rules. Therefore, when transcribing names from these languages using IPA, one only needs to follow the MOS:PRON and Help:IPA (H:IPA-DE, H:IPA-FR, H:IPA-NL, etc.). According to the conventions of Misplaced Pages, IPA transcriptions for these languages do not need sources unless they are strange or exotic (e.g. Mbappé). So, the IPA for Benjamin Pavard and Stefan de Vrij is correct. These pronunciations do have sources (e.g. interview videos), but it's not necessary to add them in articles. --BigBullfrog (talk) 15:04, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
@BigBullfrog: Sounds fair, thanks. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:29, 21 December 2024 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, it's a complete sentence with a subject, a verb and an object and per MOS:CAPFRAG should go with a full stop. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 11:11, 23 December 2024 (UTC)

@Robby.is.on: Maybe, but the way it's worded doesn't feel to me like a properly constructed sentence you'd find in regular prose. If I were to word it like a standalone sentence it would be something like "The scores and results columns list Templatonia's goal tally first, while the score column indicates the score after each Template goal". Mattythewhite (talk) 16:57, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
I see what you mean. The sentence leaves out articles and also the word "column" once for brevity (you might find this discussion on English Language & Usage Stack Exchange interesting). Still, the sentence includes the essential components subject, verb and object and I'm pretty sure that means it needs a full stop. This is also reflected in our manual of style at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Football/Players. Seasons greetings, Robby.is.on (talk) 23:51, 25 December 2024 (UTC)

ENFA stats

Hi, do you still have access to enfa.co.uk player stats? Earlier this year you helped by extracting the career stats for Leon Leuty and I am just coming towards the end of developing an article for his teammate Jackie Stamps, alas, I also can't easily find his career stats. If you have access, will you be able to upload this (and fix any erroneous data in the infobox)? I'm looking to push it towards GA. Thanks. Bungle 13:18, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
