==Life and career==
Morgan was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At age 13, he interned with the ] Tulsa Forecast Office. Morgan was presented with the Humanitarian Award by former Oklahoma Governor ] for KFOR's coverage of the ] on May 3, 1999. In eight out of nine years since 2000 (seven of those years consecutive), Morgan has received the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters award for state's Best 10PM weathercast. Mike has also been honored the Radio Television News Directors' Association Award and has won two and been nominated for seven Regional Emmy Awards.
