Hey, I don't know how to leave a signature so sorry about that but saw . Those were college majors (have provided a link to the correct source), I don't know if it's against WP policy to list the majors the college offers (if it does, please feel free to let me know or undo it and I apologize) but wanted to give you the heads up. Anyway, it is dedicated to Criminal Justice, hence the college's name (John Jay College '''of Criminal Justice'''). :You may find it helpful to review our ] and our specific guidance on ]. In general, we try to aim for articles that cover the most important information about an institution without delving into a lot of detail about any particular aspect unless that detail is critical e.g., precise size of endowment, year of founding, number of students enrolled. A detailed listing of alumni who receive a particular award from the institution doesn't seem to be the kind of critical information we should include in an encyclopedia article.

I don't believe links to a commercial seller of posters adds to this encyclopedia or that particular article. It appears to me to be a transparent ploy to simply gain more business. You're free to add the links back to the article - I won't delete them. I'm sure someone else will, though. And if I'm wrong and no one deletes them then I'm clearly in the minority and I'll happily live with that.
In any case, I appreciate you asking and your willingness to deal with this rationally and respectfully!

I know you're already looking but basically anything you can find on Thompson would help. Verifiable proof of his Note to Reno would be golden. Other topics you may want to look up which we know Thompson has had input on: Robida murders(slightly covered already) Elian Gonzalas, Diseases on Disney Cruises are Bioterrism, 2000 Elections, Washington Sniper Murders, Columbine, Kobe Bryant, Howard Stern, 2 Live Crew, Alabama Devin Thompson Trial (although its been sometimes reported as Devin Moore), the list just goes on and on... ]

Hello, ElKevbo! I noticed that you were removing full date links from the <nowiki><ref>s</nowiki> in ]. The wiki-linking of full dates allows MediaWiki to recognize the link as a date; users can then adjust how the dates are viewed in his/her preferences. See ] for more information. Thus, would you mind not removing any more links and also adding wikilinks to dates to any further references that you add? This would be greatly appreciated. Ursuline College
Hi @ElKevbo! I was wondering if it would be possible to restore the additions recently made to the Ursuline College page regarding their ranking by U.S. News and World Report. Other Ohio universities' pages use extremely similar wording, like under the Academics and Rankings section of Bowling Green State University. Let me know your thoughts, and thanks so much for your help! - I have no objection to including relevant, up-to-date rankings in the article. But they should be described in neutral language and with accuracy, including the year of the ranking.
- And I strongly recommend that you restrict most or all of your editing about Ursuline to the article's Talk page given your employment and your specific role at the college. ElKevbo (talk) 15:28, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

- You may find it helpful to review our general policy on what Misplaced Pages is not and our specific guidance on what we typically include in articles about colleges and universities.
